For the October break we booked the Miyue Santorini resort in Huizhou, Huidong. The trip has been amazing. There are water sports like jet ski, kayaking, diving, paragliding and more. We did 3; jet ski for 150rmb for around 15 minutes, and the blue floating boat for 300rmb for around 20 minutes. It felt a bit dangerous as the driver was going very fast but you can let him know to slow down. I would say the beach is lovely but sadly there is some rubbish in it. There is not much around the hotel but the view is stunning. I read reviews saying Xunliao Bay is better. We will visit tomorrow. Huizhou is such a beautiful place. I wish people would treat it better and stop throwing trash. We came by train from Guangzhou East, arrived at Huidongnan in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then there was a 40 minute didi ride from the station to the hotel. The staff does not speak English but they are helpful on WeChat.
