It's been a while since my last staycation, but I decided to stay at Mondrian Singapore Duxton. Located in Duxton, the hotel is surrounded by many cafes, making it a convenient and lively spot. The lobby is adorned with beautiful artwork, creating a visually appealing entrance. The rooms are super chic-small but cozy, providing a comfortable atmosphere. My favorite part of the stay was the pool, offering stunning views of the city. The cabanas on the side are a great addition, but they need to be booked in the afternoon, so it can get crowded but the night view from the pool is amazing too!! Breakfast was quite good, with a mixture of à la carte and buffet options. I opted for the chili crab omelette, which was quite good. ❣️The hotel is close to Chinatown and within walking distance to Maxwell subway station. There are also many restaurants, shops and convenience stores nearby. It is very convenient to walk to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum in Singapore in five minutes and to Maxwell Food Centre in two minutes. ❣️The most striking thing about this new hotel is the luxurious emerald green theme, which extends from the restaurant and bar to the guest rooms, featuring simple lines, tiles and elegant green metal elements. ❣️The bed, pillows and duvet in the room are super comfortable. Duxton King Room was not huge but very comfortable and clean with plenty of space for luggage. The dark green wash basin in the bathroom is very chic. The room facilities are also very complete. ❣️Breakfast is semi-buffet and you can choose a breakfast by yourself. Therefore, there are many choices in the buffet area, including fruits, cold cuts, and cheese. ❣️The first floor is the hotel entrance, and the third floor is the lobby and breakfast area. The 4th to 12th floors are rooms. Say hi to the first permanent KAWS sculpture in Asia at Mondrian Singapore Duxton! It is located near Tanjong Pagar MRT. The sculpture is over 6m tall. Can you believe it? and it's standing at the new Duxton 24 hour linkway that links Craig road, Neil road, with Duxton Hill. You can enjoy it for free! Mondrian Singapore Duxton hotel is art-focused with artistic artworks inside the hotel as well, including works from local artists such as Andre Wee and Dawn Ng. Tried out this fairly new hotel located at Maxwell. Walking distance to Maxwell MRT and Maxwell food centre. You can also walk to Chinatown. The reception is located at level 4, which is also where the restaurant / breakfast area is. The check-in was fast and you need to transfer to the lifts at level 4 to reach the guestrooms. Room is clean and pretty decent. Good for a short staycation. They have a nice pool and bar at the rooftop, which overlook the city area. The breakfast is OK but not many choices given. Had a fabulous staycation at the newly opened Mondrian at Duxton Hotel. Paid around $300 for a 2D1N stay (got this deal during the soft launch) just for the room itself. Water Bottles: The water bottles in the room are pretty cool, designed like milk bottles – a nice touch! 🥛 Rooftop Pool: The real showstopper here is the rooftop infinity pool! 🏊♀️ It's super "Instagrammable" and definitely where you'll get those fantastic, highly shareable photos. And Outram Park subway station is ridiculously close, 3 minutes walk, take the Green Line straight into Sentosa, say leave.
