If you reach Dubai by lunch time, you can easily do these two attractions on the same day. Day 2: watch Sunrise from the top of the Burj Khalifa then go for a stroll around the dubai fountain. Then check out the largest mall in the world- Dubai mall. Finish the day exploring downtown Dubai and dinner along with Fountain show. Fountain is closed for the next 5 months due to maintenance. (May 2025 onwards). Day 3: visit the Al Fahidi historical neighbourhood in the morning. The Coffee museum is a must see. Feel free to have some bite to eat at the Arabian Tea House. Then go for Desert Safari in the afternoon. Day 4: visit Dubai Miracle Garden and the Global village. They are closed to each other and easily doable in a day. If you want a break or to cool down there is a mall called Citiland mall. Day 5: visit One or two theme parks. We did Legoland and motiongate.they are open 10-8 pm, so get there early if you want to do 2 in a day. Day 6: visit Spice souq and Gold souq. Go for a stroll around Deira creek before heading home. Day 7: we had breakfast buffet around the Dubai marina before heading to Palm Jumeirah. We explored the monorail before checking out the Atlantis hotel. You can explore the aquarium or just enjoy the partial view for free from cafe/ gift shop downstairs. If you have time explore the Burj Al Arab as well. Day 8: relax before flying out. Tips: Sunscreen Try exploring outside area in the evening and stay indoors during the day to avoid heat. Dont forget your daily prayers. All places have prayers rooms in them, so utilise that. Unfortunately, I lived yesterday the worst ever experience for me in a should-be prestigious worldwide hotel - Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai - as I found dozens of ants spread in my room ( attached one of several photos and videos I documented) and the worst thing is that I complained to the female receptionist in the morning and told her to solve the problem, she said ok and then nothing happened. Due to my job as a journalist and have to meet the deadline of sending my article, I was forced to continue work until done. I went down to the reception, and met one male receptionist who was kind and said until when I will be back to my room to solve it, and when I am back, he told me we need to change your room coz it's in a direction where ants exist. unbelievable! 😔 anyway, I moved and did not want to write a review, but even apology for this did not happen. next time, i would never stay in Movenpik in Dubai.
