Naoshima is in Kagawa Prefecture, but did you know that the closest port is actually Uno Port in Okayama? We arrived there in 20 minutes by ferry from Uno Port 🚢✨ The boat was big and comfortable 🙌 I also wanted to see Yayoi Kusama's yellow pumpkin, but one hour wasn't enough time, so I gave up this time! It takes about 40 minutes by ferry from Takamatsu to Naoshima. Naoshima is full of art Full of Yayoi Kusama and Tadao Ando I highly recommend the art gallery on the island. Benesse is the largest art museum and does not require reservations Most other art galleries require advance reservations because they have a limit on the number of people allowed in. Most museums do not allow photography, but you can take photos freely in the outdoor areas.
