#hiddengems Another temple located on mainland Penang, just a stone's throw away from Tow Bow Kong temple is the Guan Yin Ting Dou Mu Kong Temple. This temple complex is massive, with the original smaller temple located one street behind. The temple is associated with the Nine Emperor God, which is housed on the ground level, while the deity Kuan Yin is housed on the 3rd floor, overlooking beautiful scenery. Amidst the stunning architecture, there's a big fish pond in the middle with hundreds of kois and a dragon fountain. While we were there visiting, an MTV crew were there filming for the upcoming Chinese New Year music video! So image how beautiful this temple must be to be selected as the setting for CNY MTV.
