Holy Water Giant Oryan Free Make-up Lesson
A huge Oryan opened in Seongsu on November 22nd. In addition to the wide variety of products and easy-to-see items, and the many tester corners, there is also a makeup service (choose one from three types)! It's free, but they explain the items and makeup methods in detail, so it's educational 🙆♀️ A simple report on reservations, etc. ↓
First, when you go to the second floor, there is a touch-up service corner near the escalator. You can make a reservation with the local machine. When I went, there were only two groups in front of me, but it takes about 15 minutes per person, so I waited quite a bit. However, since it's a huge Oryan, you can kill time with ease.
When the time comes, show the staff the reservation screen and they will guide you to your seat. For makeup, you don't choose the whole face, but only choose one of the three types: "lip", "base", and "eye makeup". They will teach you accordingly.
This time I chose lip makeup. You can choose the color and texture you like as long as you tell them 🙆♀️ Lip liner, concealer, how to layer lip, how to do gradation, etc. ... They gave me a detailed and careful explanation of how to apply makeup to suit the shape of my lips. She was a very kind woman! (I don't know if it depends on the staff💦) I was only given lip makeup, but I was taught for about 15 minutes (maybe more).
If there are any items you like, they will tell you! It's ok to take notes with photos (it's not a department store, so even if you like the items, you have to find them yourself lol)
Finally, you answer a questionnaire and say goodbye! By the way, if you receive a touch-up service, you get a 5% off coupon for purchases over 20,000 won🙃!
The items are mostly affordable items such as ROM&nd, fwee, and The Saem. There aren't as many varieties as at a full-fledged makeup salon, but it should be enough for makeup refugees.
It seems that Japanese is not available at the moment (there were a few people who could speak Japanese inside Oriyaan, so it might be available on some days?) If you can speak basic Korean, it should be fine! It should probably be fine even if you use a translator! (Even if you can't speak Korean at all, I think you can understand it by gestures!)
I'm also interested in eye makeup. Please check the photo for reservation times (photo translated by papago)
