This was my first time using a ferry on a trip from Kanto to Hokkaido 🚢 I took the Shin Nihonkai Ferry's Lavender, which departed Niigata Port at 12 o'clock and arrived at Otaru Port just before 5 o'clock the next day ♪ Since it was operating at night, I couldn't really enjoy the scenery...💦However, the evening scenery was very beautiful and worth seeing! I got a little seasick due to the waves, but it was a fun trip 😊 The ferry trip was fun, so I would like to try a ferry trip on a different route!

Otaru Port is located one finest jewel I love to visit. The environment here is quite different than Sapporo. a mix of sea trading, touring, fishing and just looking at the view is breathtaking. The seafood are obviously very fresh. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
