There were so many people even though I went there almost right after it opened! But the staff were kind enough to guide me. The coffee beans themselves were delicious, and the cinnamon rolls seemed to be the most famous, so I tried them and they were delicious! Almost every table had at least one of these breadsㅎㅎ This place is also famous for its Asahi bowls, so I saw a lot of people coming here for brunch! If you're traveling to Porto, I definitely recommend goingㅎㅎ

Spent two days in Porto and absolutely loved this city. The Dom Luís I Bridge connecting both banks of the Douro River is the crowning jewel of the entire city. The compact size makes it perfect for citywalking, with most places easily accessible on foot. 🌟Must-visit attractions: ◽️Ribeira District – The soul of Porto. Stroll along the riverside past colorful houses that make every photo frame-worthy. ◽️Dom Luís I Bridge🌉 – Linking both riverbanks. Staying in Vila Nova de Gaia, we crossed this bridge daily to reach the old town, enjoying panoramic views – especially magical at sunset. The height might trigger slight acrophobia on first crossing. ◽️Porto Cathedral⛪ – Under renovation during our visit (entry restricted), but its grand observation deck offers spectacular city views👍🏻. After a transfer and waiting time, I arrived in the city exactly 24 hours later in Taiwan time. Porto, Portugal at the end of April is a strange but exciting place. Because I want to take the pilgrimage route, I stayed for two days to adapt to the jet lag and replenish my energy. Although it was rainy on the day of arrival, the next day, the weather was fine, so we could explore the city. We were so lucky. Walked along the route to the Porto Cathedral, and then to the most lively harbor to eat an egg tart with coffee, watching the crowds and the market with many seagulls, and the most touristy Louis I Bridge. Then we went up along the mountain city. There were surprise shops or coffee shops in every alley, which was so interesting. There were also flower tiles on the exterior walls everywhere, which were so beautiful. Although the sun was very strong, it was actually very comfortable and not hot at all. It was perfect for walking alone, and it was just right to adapt to the roads built on the mountains in Spain and Portugal to prepare for the subsequent pilgrimage (after all, I usually ride directly on public transportation and can't walk 😆 I tried the famous Portuguese wet sandwiches and the local beer super bock, which was very suitable for my taste and I had a great time. #AprilTravelSupport Sharing my dining experience at MUU Steakhouse in Porto. The restaurant is famous for its sophisticated atmosphere and friendly staff, and is so popular that reservations are essential. The steaks were juicy and perfectly cooked, especially the Black Angus sirloin. The rosti with truffle oil and spinach topped with cheese were also excellent. The amuse bouche and warm bread served before the meal were enough to whet my appetite, and the staff were kind enough to explain and recommend the menu. Overall, I was satisfied with both the quality of the food and the service, and if you want a special meal in Porto, I recommend MUU Steakhouse.

Here's a guide to help you make the most of your trip: 🕗 08:00: Visit the Magical Bookstore Head straight to Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. Harry Potter fans will go crazy! J.K. Rowling frequented this bookstore while writing her books, and the spiral staircase is said to have inspired Hogwarts (although the author denies it). It's like entering an artful wonderland where I'm not sure you ever see every little detail because there's always another piece that draws your eye. The hubby and I couldn't stop looking. Nor could we decide which piece was our favorite. This is a not to miss stop when visiting Villa Nova de Gaia. Pop up the hill from the Port Houses and make sure you don't miss this shop of wonderful art and imagination. Located right next to a cute cafe and shop in a small neighborhood, even the bathroom was decorated (and clean - no surprise with the attention to detail in this amazing place). If you're driving, there's parking right around the building. We'll be back for sure.

As the second largest city in Portugal, Porto not only has rich history and culture, but is also a vibrant modern city. During this trip, I will take you to explore the beautiful scenery, food and cultural customs of Porto. ## Day 1: Arrival in Porto The moment I arrived in Porto, I was captivated by the unique atmosphere of the city. Take the subway from the airport into the city center and you can see many modern buildings and bustling streets along the way. After getting off the bus, I first went to the hotel I had reserved - a small boutique hotel in the Ribeira district. The hotel's balcony faced the Douro River and the view was breathtaking. ### Walks in the Ribeira District After putting down my luggage, I couldn’t wait to walk out of the hotel and stroll through the Ribeira district. The streets here are narrow and lined with colorful buildings, making people feel like they are in a painting. Along the river bank, I admired the Porto Wine Cellars on the other side, which is the best place for wine tasting. As the sun sets, the golden sunlight shines on the river, creating a sparkling scene that is intoxicating. ## Day Two: History and Cultural Exploration ### St. Benedict Train Station In the morning, I chose to start my cultural tour from Estação de São Bento Train Station. This train station is famous for its ornate tile paintings, which showcase Portuguese history and culture. The blue and white tile paintings in the station are amazing, each one has a different story. Walking here feels like traveling back in time. ### Lisbon Cathedral Next, I came to Lisbon Cathedral (Sé do Porto). This church is one of the oldest buildings in Porto and has been restored many times, retaining its unique Gothic and Romanesque style. When I walked into the church, the solemn atmosphere made me feel a sense of tranquility. The church bells echoed in the air, seeming to tell the story of the city. ### Clarigos Church Afterwards, I headed to the Igreja dos Clérigos Church (Igreja dos Clérigos), home to Porto’s most famous bell tower. Climb the steps of the clock tower for stunning views of the city. When I stood on the top of the tower, I had an unobstructed view of the entire Porto, especially the spectacular view of the Douro River, which was heart-stirring. ## Day 3: Wine Tour ### Wine Cellar Porto is famous for its excellent Port wine and today I planned to go on a wine tasting tour. At famous cellars such as Graham's and Sandeman, guided tours take us through the process of making Port wine. Wine barrels of various vintages are displayed in the wine cellar, and the air is filled with the aroma of wine. During the wine tasting session, I tasted several different styles of port wine, from sweet white port to rich red port, all of which made me intoxicated. Every sip was filled with fruit aromas and barrel flavors, giving me a deeper understanding of the charm of Port wine. ### Douro River Cruise In the evening, I chose a boat cruise on the Douro River to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Porto and its surroundings. The boat sails slowly on the river, and the beautiful scenery on both sides is picturesque. The afterglow of the setting sun reflected on the water, making the whole city surrounded by golden light. At this moment, I felt the magic of Porto. ## Day 4: Local Food ### Traditional Potu cuisine When traveling in Porto, you can’t miss the local food. I went to a local restaurant and ordered a "Francesinha", a traditional porto sandwich with a variety of meats and a mouth-watering rich tomato sauce. Paired with a glass of local white wine, it's a perfect pairing. ### Market Adventure After the meal, I headed to Bolto’s markets, such as the Mercado do Bolhão, which is a microcosm of local life. The market is filled with fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood, and shopkeepers enthusiastically communicate with customers. I picked out some local specialties to take home and share with friends. On the last day of my trip, I took a relaxing stroll through the streets of Porto, filled with nostalgia for this city. The beauty of Potu lies not only in its scenery, but also in its history, culture and human touch. Here, every corner exudes a unique charm that makes people want to come back again and again. Porto, the wine capital, will always remain in my heart and become an indelible part of my travel memories.
