Qida Village is my favorite place on this trip to Fujian. The fishing villages along this line are all very beautiful, with a peaceful and romantic feeling. ⛰️Usually, to take photos of Qida Village, you need to go to the "Qiguanding" on the top of the mountain, which is called "Rio de Janeiro". 🚙Self-driving: Navigate to "Qi Guan Ding", starting from Fuzhou, it takes about 1.5 hours to drive there; 🚅Other transportation: Take the high-speed rail to Lianjiang Station, share a car/charter a car; 👉🏼If you drive up the mountain, you need to walk for about 20-30 minutes to the best photo location after parking. You can also walk all the way up from Qida Village. The climbing time is about 1 hour, and it is free🆓 📸Photography angle: The Internet celebrity stone is located at the top of the mountain. Standing on the stone, open your arms and imitate Rio de Janeiro. The stone itself is relatively safe and not as dangerous as it looks in the photo. There is a wider area below to walk. Qida Village in Lianjiang is a small fishing village, but it looks spectacular from the top of the mountain. It feels like Rio de Janeiro. Drive all the way to "Qida Village Qiguanding" and continue along the road to "Baiyun Temple" after arriving. Continue driving up after Baiyun Temple. The road behind Baiyun Temple is unpaved and narrow, so be careful when passing other cars. After arriving, park along the road. Parking is free, but it is difficult to find a spot when there are many people. Then, go through the stone archway and walk the rest of the way. It takes 20–30 minutes to walk up and down the mountain road and stone steps, which is tiring. It is fine on the way there, but you will feel exhausted on the way back. The mountains in Fujian feel like a whole piece of rock. The scenery at the top of the mountain is beautiful. The view of Qida Village from a high angle is spectacular. Many people take photos at the check-in point, which looks like the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. Qida Village Qiguanding is a must-visit place in Fuzhou.

If the road is not under construction, get off where you see Qiguanding, and then climb the stairs to arrive. The oysters in Qida Village are really cheap and delicious. In summer, you can see the squid boats going out to sea emit green lights, like the aurora (this is also the Aurora Village I have always introduced). Precautions: Attention should be paid to sun protection. Although there are shades on the way up the hill, the ultraviolet rays at the seaside are still very strong and it is easy to get sunburned. The room is very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows + an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sunrise just by lifting the curtains in the morning. The room comes with complimentary drinks and tea sets. You can enjoy tea while admiring the beautiful view outside the window. Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the quiet Dinghai Bay beach, very peaceful and pleasant. Inside the scenic area, there is a hotel's own seafood restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, you can eat there with confidence. ☑️Touring tips 1⃣️For those who don't want to climb 1800 steps, you can also take a taxi directly to Baiyun Temple, which is about a 20-minute walk to the top of the mountain. 2⃣️No admission fee is required for the tour, and there are self-service water sales along the way. 3⃣️The fence with the wishing plaques is the best spot for photos, be sure to pay attention to safety! 4⃣️Be sure to go on a sunny day, got a bit sunburned, but it's really too beautiful! The village's sea view area has been rebuilt. There are no lawns, but instead it is planted with ornamental crops. You can get a very close look at the windmills, and the whirring sound can be heard throughout the village. 🎫: Free 🅿️: There is a parking lot near the entrance of the village, which was under repair when we went there. We parked at a temporary spot in the village and the fee was 5 yuan per time. 📍 Huangqi Beach The beach is not very big, you can go there to catch crabs, dig clams, pick up shells, and you can also fish.
