#coupletravel Little do I know there is this Crockford Hotel inside Genting Highland. It is so easy accessible by just following the clear signboard. The atmosphere and decoration bring me back to London, especially the red colour payphone, and also the bear. The service staff was so kind to be greeting everytime we pass by and giving a warmth smile! Do come by and even try out the hotel!

Whilst there are many choices of accomodations to choose from at Genting Highlands, Crockford's definitely tops the list for the luxury services and high-end amenities. My stay for 2D1N at the Gym Executive Suite was the best I've ever had at Genting. The hotel lobby come with beautiful decorations of the lounge, cafe, and secret garden which is actually a smoking zone. “HORSE” by Fernando Botero Angulo displayed at the lobby worth millions of ringgit. After going through the rave reviews online about this new hotel in Genting Highlands, decided to have a staycation during one of the weekdays. Booked online just 1 hour before arrival. Hence check in took some time for processing. There are no child amenities provided initially, may be because of the late booking. However, upon requesting to the butler team, we received complimentary kids tent, chocolate drinks, gift packs and kids toiletries. Hence, I strongly suggest future guests to book earlier to enjoy the added benefit of personalized service. Room was spacious enough for Genting Highlands standard, with welcome fruits and macarons. There are also complimentary toiletries for man and woman! Did not have bathtub but the seated area with sauna definitely made up for that. Bedding was very comfortable, with superb view. Curtain can be controlled via the remote control bedside. Breakfast was semi-buffet. Main course can only be ordered once. Nevertheless portion is big enough. Nasi Lemak lobster is a must-try! Service was excellent. Overall, great hotel in Genting highlands, set a very high standard for the stay here. First time staying at the most exclusive crockford hotel in Genting. The service of the hotel staff is very good and friendly , there is a serve welcome drink at check-in. You can also upgrade your Genting reward card to a gold card for free, and you can enjoy free cocktails and music at the crockford club lounge in the evening. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the invincible mountain scenery, and the hotel's housekeeper also prepared a welcome fruit plate, and you will also receive a small dessert in the evening. Crockford's hotel is the most high-end hotel in the Genting Resort World hotels group. It is located at the end of the Genting complex, after The First World Hotel, Sky Avenue mall, and Sky Avenue themepark. My experience staying at Superior King Room, Crockfords Genting Resort World: -Friendly team at the check-in counter. -Interesting decor in the lobby; it's run as the place to have your morning breakfast. -All the rooms have a beautiful view of Genting highlands, I love it so much! -There severalnprivate room, and back end rooms are located at the same floor, so it's a long walk to reach the room :). -The room design is fantastic; there are chandeliers inside the bathroom and in the living room. When I entered the room, I saw the sofa and working table first, and I couldn't see where is the bed :). It's actually behind the working desk. Maybe I was distracted by the beautiful toilet :). -The bed is so comfortable. -The room amenities is excellent, soft drinks, beers, and a coffee machine. -Cute tiger toy is on the bed. It started with a WhatsApp message: “Wanna escape to the clouds this weekend?” Three words later — “Book it, babe.” — and our spontaneous 3D2N Genting Highlands adventure was set in motion. 🗓 Day 1: Into the Clouds We left KL behind with a car full of snacks, a playlist called “Mountain Mood,” and the kind of excitement only an unplanned trip can give. The winding road up the Titiwangsa mountains felt like a slow dance with the mist — we even pulled over for photos when the fog kissed the treetops just right. By noon, we checked into Resorts World Genting. Our room at Crockfords Hotel was sleek, luxurious, and had the best view of the rolling fog — like staying inside a cloud. After lunch at The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden, we explored SkyAvenue Mall, a shopping paradise suspended in the clouds. With over 100 stores, indoor gardens, and even an LED sky ceiling, it was hard not to get lost — but in a good way. Evening came, and so did the cold. We bundled up and headed to Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park. Though the real rides waited for Day 2, we soaked in the glowing lights, the magical atmosphere, and yes — the hot chocolate from Jom Makan Street Food that warmed our hands and hearts. 🗓 Day 2: Thrills, Chills & Chocolate Hills Theme park day! We woke up early, dressed in our comfiest hoodies, and braved the chilly morning for a full day at SkyWorlds. From the adrenaline rush on Independence Day: Defiance to floating through the dreamy world of Ice Age, it was laughter, screams, and repeat. Midday, we found a cozy hideout at Madame Waffle and ordered matcha waffles with soft serve — because calories don’t count on vacation. After an afternoon of rollercoasters and cinematic worlds, we rewarded ourselves with a trip to The Chocolatier. Rows of handcrafted truffles, cocoa-dusted almonds, and melt-in-your-mouth bars — it felt like stepping into Willy Wonka’s quieter, more elegant cousin’s house. Night fell, and we wrapped the day with a magical ride on the Awana SkyWay Cable Car. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay. One of the delightful touches was receiving fresh cookies every evening, which made our stay even more special. If you feel cold in the room, don't worry-they provide a heating fan upon request, which was a thoughtful and useful amenity. Room for Improvement: While the hotel experience was fantastic, the restaurant options could be improved. There is no buffet, and the menu choices are quite limited, with no dedicated kids' meals. The dinner options are only Chinese cuisine, which may not cater to all preferences. However, SkyAvenue is easily accessible, offering a variety of restaurants to choose from.
