Hong Kong|A snorkeling paradise that is easily accessible🤿🐡🐠
Sai Kung Sharp Island is really a place where I spend half of the summer. There is no way I don't like it.
There is a reason why Sharp Island has become a popular tourist attraction.
There is not only the historic Pineapple Rock, but also the hidden road after low tide; it is not only the best place to play canoe, but also a diving paradise.
Sharp Island is very close to the center of Sai Kung. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to take the street ferry from the pier to reach it.
Although its beach is not made of fine sand and has many oyster shells, it is really beautiful to take pictures at a certain location. (I have a lot of photos of it in spring, summer, autumn and winter on my phone. 🙈)
🌟🌟🌟
If you want to take a picture of the entire Hidden Road, in addition to using a drone, you can actually walk a few more steps and take pictures from different angles. (Of course, you need to wait until the tide goes out.)
🌟
After getting off the boat, walk along the cement road beside the beach (without going down the beach) until you reach the huge rocks on the beach, and you can see the whole road from a distance.
🌟
The sea surface you can see from the giant rock beach is black. Those are corals🪸. You can snorkel🤿 and see many different kinds of fish. It is very beautiful. I come here many times every year to snorkel🤿.
🌟🌟🌟
If you want to go snorkeling by yourself, you need to prepare a lot of equipment (life jackets, diving goggles, diving suits, diving shoes, gloves, etc.). You need to be accompanied by someone with certain experience. Do not go alone. And sometimes there are very strong winds and waves, so it depends on the weather, location and people. Avoid going to the sea when there are strong winds and waves to avoid accidents.
🌟🌟🌟
There are big waves near the coral reefs of Sharp Island most of the time. Sometimes you will be washed to the rocks and scratched by oyster shells. It is better to wear a long-sleeved diving suit. Be careful⚠️.
🌟🌟🌟
Corals are home to different species of corals, so please do not destroy or trample them.
Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility! Take your own trash away.
