A homely restaurant with delicious food near the 800-year-old mountain salt mine.
When you visit Nan Province, “Bo Kluea District” is one of the districts that you must intentionally visit and should not miss at all. Because most of Bo Kluea District is a complex of high mountains, it is a collection of check-in places, important historical sites, viewpoints, accommodations and beautiful cafes with million-dollar views, all of which are in this district. For example, Bo Kluea Sinthao, an 800-year-old ancient mountain salt mine, the source of the Nan River, Sapan Village, Ban Wer terraced rice fields, Khun Nan National Park, Phap Pha Road, etc.
Food is also important. I would like to recommend a delicious and inexpensive restaurant, “Por Piang Restaurant” by Pa Klaep, a kind chef. Normally, Nan food tastes bland, but this restaurant is spicy. Chili, garlic, and stir-fry are cooked fresh, with smoky flavors. The restaurant is comfortable to sit in, in a homely style, but it is clean, tidy, and most importantly, friendly. Don’t forget to stop by! ✌️
👍 P.S. Pad See Ew is delicious and has a strong smell of a burnt pan.
