🌴Five-day and four-night trip to Phu Quoc Island | Suitable for those who don’t want to play water sports and just want to walk around
🏨 Accommodation experience: Crowne Plaza Star Bay
We stayed at Crowne Plaza Star Bay Phu Quoc, which is located on the northernmost coast.
✨ Pros:
• Clean rooms and delicious breakfast
• Enjoy the beautiful sea view every day when you wake up
😓 Cons:
• Remote location, every time you go out you have to:
➡️ Take the hotel shuttle bus → Go to "Phu Quoc World"
➡️ Walk another 200 meters → Take the free VinBus
🔁 The one-way trip takes at least 30 minutes. If you have enough budget, you can also take Grab (credit card payment is available)
💡 Tips: I booked all the trips that require admission tickets on Trip, which will be a little cheaper than on-site!
📍Introduction to the main areas of Phu Quoc Island
• North: Phu Quoc World, Pearl Land
• Central: Night market, gourmet restaurants (squid pot, The Home Pizza, etc.)
• South: Sunset Town, Cable Car, Kissing Bridge
📆 Itinerary Overview
📍Day 1: Airport ➡️ Squid Pot ➡️ Hotel
We got off the plane at 7pm, and it took about an hour from the airport to the hotel.
We ate the famous local squid pot in the central part of the trip. The pot bottom used coriander and basil, which was very Vietnamese. It was considered a better meal in the whole trip!
📍Day 2 (North): Great World ➡️ Teddy Bear Museum ➡️ Hotel dinner
• Phu Quoc Great World:
👉 Mainly for taking photos, it is recommended to come in the morning to take photos of the colorful huts 🌈
👉 There are not many tourists during the day, and there will be lights and performances at night, which is more lively
• Teddy Bear Museum:
Turning famous paintings and attractions into bear versions 🧸, suitable for family travel
• Hotel semi-buffet dinner:
BBQ seafood + staple food combination, drinks are not included
💰 HKD240 per person (discount for guests)
📍Day 3 (Central): Food + Night Market
• The Home Pizza 🍕
The best pizza I have eaten in Vietnam, and there are Vietnamese flavors to choose from
👉 Recommend double pizza, one pizza is just right for two people
• Night Market:
We arrived at the night market too early, so we went for a massage first, per person HKD200, attentive and meticulous
For dinner, I randomly found a seafood restaurant, ordinary but the waiter can speak Chinese 😂
The coconut ice cream "Ken Trai Dua nha lam Kim Ngan" is recommended!
👉 But I love the avocado smoothie there more, not sweet and not greasy👍
• KingKong Supermarket (inside the night market):
You can buy souvenirs by the way 🎁
📍Day 4 (South): Sunset Town ➡️ Cross-sea Cable Car ➡️ Pizza Returns
• Sunset Town:
European-style architecture + seaside scenery, first-class check-in and photo taking 📸
Lunch at "Runam" Western Restaurant, 2F super beautiful scenery 🌊
☕ Egg coffee is highly recommended! Like milk coffee but with more egg flavor, not sweet, very special
• Cross-sea cable car:
Arrived at about 3:30 p.m., not many people can take two people in one car
⛅ The scenery is beautiful, but it is not easy to take pictures (the cable car structure blocks it)
On the other side is Sun Island Paradise, which is mainly for water activities and suitable for a whole day
⚠️ The cable car is the only way to return. The last one is at 17:30, and there were already too many people when we returned at 5:00!
• Dinner was back at The Home Pizza 😅
Seriously, I don’t recommend pasta, but Pizza is delicious!
📍Day 5: Return to the airport
Wake up in the morning and go directly to the airport ✈️
Phu Quoc Airport is very small👉 It is recommended to eat before departure!
⸻
📌 If you value convenient transportation, it is not recommended to choose a hotel in the north
📌 Phu Quoc Island is very chill overall, and there are many unexpected surprises~
