All Trip Moments about Coogee
Sydney's most pleasant beach COOGEE🏝️
The three most famous beaches in Sydney, Bondi, Coogee, Manly, I recommend Coogee!
💞Reason for recommendation:
1) Coogee is relatively less crowded compared to the remaining 2 locations.
2) And compared to the endless sea, the coogee two are decorated with trees, the scenery is more colorful
3) The rainbow staircase is the first choice for taking pictures!

#JuneTravelSupportCoogeeBeach McDonald's is located right in front of the beach, so it's a place you'll definitely stop by at least once. It's the perfect place to grab a wet towel after swimming and eat some french fries while wearing a hood.
The interior of the store isn't that big, but the taste of takeout while feeling the sea breeze is pretty good. It's an atmosphere where basic menus like warm French fries or McNuggets taste especially delicious.

For park use
#June Travel Support Fund Barden Park is a quiet neighborhood park located inside a residential area a little away from Coogee Beach. It feels more like a local living space than a tourist attraction, so it's good for taking a walk or sitting down.
The park isn't that big, but the lawn is wide and open, so it doesn't feel stuffy. Many residents come for a walk with their dogs, and since it's an off-leash area, dogs run around freely. If you sit on a bench under the shade of a tree, you can spend enough time just watching people and dogs passing by.
There's no playground or cafe, but that makes it feel more secluded. It's not crowded even on weekends, and on weekdays, you can hear the birds singing louder than people.

Coogee is not too far from Sydney, but the atmosphere changes the moment you arrive.
It has a different charm from the crowded Bondi. I really liked the quiet and secluded feeling.

🌊 Quiet and leisurely beach, Coogee Beach
Coogee is not as flashy or crowded as Bondi. That's why it was even better.
As soon as I got off the bus, the ocean spread out in front of me, and from that moment on, everything became leisurely.
The beach is wide and clean, and the waves are calm, so it's good for swimming or just looking at.
People lying on mats on the lawn, families running around with children, locals walking around with coffee...
The feeling that no one was busy made my heart feel relaxed.
A place where you don't have to do anything in particular.
I sat on a bench and stared blankly at the wind, then stopped by a nearby cafe for a warm latte.
That was enough to make the day good.

🌊 Coogee Beach Review
Coogee Beach is the perfect beach when you want to “quietly look at the ocean and rest.” It takes 30-40 minutes by bus from downtown Sydney, and you can see the ocean right away as soon as you get off, so it’s easy to get around.
The beach is wide and clean, and the waves are calm, so there were quite a few people swimming. There’s a lawn on one side, so it’s great for lying down and resting, or sitting on a bench and just dazing off.
There are also many cafes and restaurants nearby, so it’s great for eating or having a cup of coffee while looking at the ocean. Especially in the morning, there are fewer people and the sunlight is soft, so the atmosphere is really great.
It’s not as famous as Bondi, but it’s a beach that you can enjoy more comfortably because of that.
📍 Location: Coogee Beach, Eastern Suburbs
🕰 TIP: Recommended to visit on a weekday morning (quiet and leisurely)

🍗 HonestReview of Chargrill Charlie’s
I was just passing by and went in because of the smell of chicken. I didn’t expect much, but it was surprisingly good!
The rotisserie chicken is really moist and well-seasoned, so it makes you think of beer. The skin is crispy, so the texture is good. The chips and coleslaw that I ordered as a side dish weren’t bad either. The chips were fried not long ago, so they were hot and delicious.
The portions are large and the price is reasonable, so you can eat alone and there are a lot of takeout customers, so it’s easy to eat without worrying about others. The atmosphere is casual and noisy, so it feels like a ‘neighborhood restaurant’.
There’s nothing special, but it’s a place where you can think, “My favorite chicken restaurant has opened.” If it was near my house, I think I’d go every week.
