From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and impeccable service really stood out. The accommodations were beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to provide both comfort and elegance. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the ocean views, added to the feeling of indulgence. One of the true highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality were outstanding, but the lobster omelette and Nasi lemak deserve a special mention, both were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. It’s rare to find such gourmet touches as part of a hotel breakfast, and it truly elevated our mornings. We also appreciated the on-site facilities, including the serene spa and the impressive selection of six restaurants/bars, which offered everything from local flavours to international cuisine. Unwind with a handcrafted cocktail at the bar, set to the backdrop of tranquil music, there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Overall, The St. Regis Langkawi delivered on every promise of a luxury escape, with thoughtful service, excellent dining, and a setting that’s nothing short of paradise. The bay is curved like a hook, the sea water is deep and blue, and the beach is white, fine and soft, which is very comfortable to step on. The hotel provides blue parasol lounge chairs and hammocks for guests to relax and play in the water. On one side of the beach, there is a small bridge that curves into the sea. It is a high-end wedding banquet and afternoon tea venue Kayuputi, from which you can overlook the entire blue sea and sky. Especially at sunset, the afterglow of the setting sun paints the sea surface into a golden red, which is super beautiful! At night, with bright lights shining, the sense of romance is maximized, creating a different atmosphere. The hotel has a restaurant and pool bar next to the beach. It is a unique experience to enjoy delicious food under the beach lights. L'Orangerie is the upscale restaurant of the Malaysian resort #TheSt.RegisLangkawi. The high-ceilinged space is bright and spacious, elegant and grand. Breakfast is served here. In addition to the common Western buffet and Malaysian laksa, the most amazing thing is the a la carte menu #龙lobsterohem! It is no exaggeration to say that the whole lobster is shelled and the head is retained. The shrimp meat is wrapped in an omelette and drizzled with the lobster soup. It is served on an iron plate. It is really delicious and tasty. It is such a luxury to eat lobster for breakfast! The fried fillet steak + sunny-side-up egg is also very delicious. The pink beef fried to medium rare is bright and juicy, and the taste is very tender. The main dishes include pan-fried loach, smoked duck pasta, organic chicken stew, etc. Langkawi’s specialty dessert #蘭卡米素Langkamisu is also available. You can order whatever you want from the menu, even the lobster omelette and fillet steak for two! The St. Regis Bar is a high-end lounge at The St. Regis Langkawi. The bar space is made of pure marble to create an extremely luxurious bar space. It is elegant and noble, as magnificent as a palace. There is also a bottle of Champagne Noble on the table, which is really impressive. We visited after dinner in the evening. There was live music. The environment was comfortable and elegant, and the cocktails were delicious. The bar staff are very hospitable, the service is meticulous, and their knowledge of bartending is quite professional. It is highly recommended to experience this when staying at the St. Regis Hotel. If it is a weekend or holiday, The St. Regis Bar also provides a High Tea Set for RM180, where you can enjoy exquisite and delicious cakes in a wonderful and luxurious atmosphere. We checked in a bit late at night 8pm. Environment was superb. Room was clean and spacious. Also have butler service. Breakfast was nice can just sit and make order. The most luxurious resort in Langkawi The St. Regis!! I stayed in the Partial Sea View Suite for the first 5 days and the rest in the Panoramic Suite. Among the rooms I stayed in this time.. The first room, Partial Sea View St. Regis Suite [1 King Bed, Partial Sea View, St Regis Suite] ​ I said it was a partial sea view but the room I stayed in had a complete view.. It was such a great room! The total size is listed as 70 Sqm. When you enter, the living room is spacious. It's nice and clean! The minibar(?) is also spacious so it was convenient to put things on and use. There is an additional charge for the minibar. The free ones are capsule coffee and TWG tea bags. ​ During the butler service There was coffee service, so I didn't reach for the coffee in the minibar A separate bedroom next to the living room It was warm and cozy! It was not small, but just the right size. The bathroom and balcony were right next to it, so the bedroom felt more open. The bathroom also had two separate sinks A bathtub, a toilet, and a shower booth! And the place to put your luggage and the closet were all separate. And the balcony♥️ The balcony had such a pretty view It was a great place to go out and just daze off unless it was too hot. I wonder if the room I stayed in was particularly located The ocean was right in front The room was small but comfortable It was the perfect size for two people. This is my second trip to Langkawi, Malaysia. I chose the same resort for the second time and chose a very long 11-night stay!! There must be a reason for that, right? It's really a vacation itself. Many of the luxury hotels have child policy that didn’t really welcome them. St Regis did the opposite! Many additional services cater for kids, such as cupcake decoration, child size slipper, float, beach balls, balloons, tent and even beach toys! Suite room with a plunge pool @St Regis Langkawi; -The main entrance is beautiful with hanging live plants and sculptures, the vibe of a rainforest. -The Lobby is spacious, has beautiful decor, and smells good. The check-in process is more personalizedI, was guided to the lounge room with a fresh welcome drink while the team processed my check-in. -I arrived earlier, so they sent me to the waiting room, it's a fantastic waiting room, with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, snack, pastry, and a big tv screen. You can do your work here as well. -Lobby area, L'Orangerie restaurant is on the right, with indoor and outdoor seating, and The St Regis Bar is on the left. -Pantai Grill is another restaurant you should try, is located on the beach, in front of the swimming pool, and serves a delicious meal and drink. So lovely and relaxed. -I stayed in Suite room ocean front view with a plunge pool. The room is impressive, it has a spacious living room, complimentary of fresh fruits, drinks, snacks, and of course, a coffee machine. The bedroom is a very lovely, big and well-organized bathroom, a nice balcony, and a pool!! -The plunge pool located in front of the terrace very nice pool with bubbles air. Its a place for a drink and to relax with your loved one. Of course, the big swimming pool for all the guests is very nice, too. Each room has a butler assigned and s/he can assist with requests. There is a gong right at the entrance. So when you enter St Regis Langkawi for the first time, the staff will sound the gong to welcome you. Do remember to have your high tea at their lobby to enjoy an undisturbed and sumptuous afternoon tea. Probably, you might find it a splurge to stay at St Regis Langkawi. But just take a look at their photos, this hotel is too beautiful to give it a miss. It is also a beachfront resort but there are too many rocks at the beach. So it is not as pretty as the other beaches in Langkawi. They have an iconic durian sculpture at the pool and it is golden in colour, so you will see the light reflected on the durian sculpture in the day. #malaysia #langkawi

#summervacay Having had the pleasure of staying at both the Four Seasons and St. Regis in Langkawi (and their counterparts in Malaysia's capital!), I can confirm they are indeed neck-and-neck in terms of luxury experience. You can find more details about Langkawi's Four Seasons and its attractions in my previous notes on my homepage. While Langkawi's beaches aren't always touted as the most stunning, the island's charm lies in its less crowded, more relaxed environment. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of attractions and rainforest adventures to enjoy, which explains why new hotels continue to open there. The Four Seasons had the advantage of being an earlier establishment, securing a truly beautiful and expansive beachfront. This is where the Four Seasons arguably edges out the St. Regis, as you can see from photos that the St. Regis's beach is quite ordinary (a similar issue found at the later-built Ritz-Carlton). However, their architectural styles differ: the Four Seasons boasts a striking Moroccan Islamic design (which I personally love, especially their spa!), while the St. Regis adopts a more modern aesthetic. Some guests might prefer the latter. Another significant draw for the St. Regis is its restaurant, Kayuputi, designed by the renowned Bill Bensley. (I've mentioned this restaurant before when I was exploring my #BensleyCollection). I find Kayuputi to be both visually stunning and incredibly delicious, making it a worthwhile dining destination even if you're not staying at the St. Regis. In terms of service, both hotels are fairly comparable, though I've consistently had excellent impressions of the St. Regis's service. Kayuputi, the overwater restaurant, offered pan-Asian cuisine in a setting reminiscent of an art collector’s beach house. L’Orangerie presented a fusion of modern French and Asian flavors, while the St. Regis Bar served the signature ‘Lang Mary’, a local twist on the classic Bloody Mary.  The resort’s infinity pool provided a tranquil spot to unwind, and the St. Regis Spa offered treatments blending ancient techniques with modern therapies.
