The ancient city of Hoi An, which I arrived at early in the morning, was quieter than I thought. I had a quick bite at a banh mi restaurant recommended by locals, and sat in a quiet teahouse and drank tea without saying a word. In the afternoon, I walked along the Thu Bon River.
