To do: * Trang An boat tour - more organized than Tam Coc, with friendlier boat rowers/paddlers (less likely to pressure you for tips or push you to buy souvenirs from them) * Hang Mua - panoramic views + beautiful lotus bloom in season Note: only cash is accepted here * Bich Dong Pagoda - free entrance and located near Tam Coc pier * Bai Dinh Pagoda - largest pagoda complex in Vietnam. The place is massive - you’ll need to take an electric car to explore the different sections. Note: It’s soooooo far from Trang An Boat Tour. (No GrabBike is available here, only taxis. You can join tours or rent a bike/motorcycle. Walking is an option, too.)

Compared with Halong Bay and Lulong Bay, I personally prefer the scenery of Lulong Bay. You can slide a boat to see the scenery on both sides. The shape of the mountain is 30% similar and 70% depends on imagination. It is very interesting. However, the boating time is in the afternoon when the sun is very strong. Although there is an umbrella to hold, the boating time is about more than an hour. The whole process is almost exposed to the sun. People who are afraid of heat should pay attention. In addition to seeing the natural scenery, I went to Hanoi City to experience the humanities in the next two days. I went to the 36-line ancient street. You can buy local souvenirs there and bargain as much as you want. Compared with the leisurely and comfortable days before, the itinerary in the city is relatively more exciting. The local traffic is really exciting. Whether it is pedestrians, riders or drivers, it feels that everyone relies on eye contact or telepathy. The amazing thing is that I haven’t seen any traffic accidents in the few days I stayed there; in addition to traffic safety, personal safety should also be paid attention to. The companion lost his mobile phone while shopping in the old city. Although he went to the police station to report the case, he didn’t find it in the end.
