Untersberg is a famous mountain that straddles the border between Germany and Austria, and is located about 16km southwest of Salzburg.
You can take a cable car to an altitude of 1,776m in about 8 minutes,
and from the Geiereck observation deck, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps and the city of Salzburg.

Salzburg Alps
#DecemberTravelSupportEvent
The Alps you can go to from Salzburg are Unterberg. I went up there because I thought I'd go there once, but what is this? Haha I think I saw the 'mountain' too lightly. Have I ever seen that much snow in my life? Haha But I had fun walking and dancing and enjoying the Alps.

Cafeteria at Unterberg Observatory
#FallHo-cationEvent Food eaten while waiting for the cable car to disembark at Unterberg. There is a cafeteria-like restaurant and the food wasn't bad. Since the cable car departs every 30 minutes, it was nice to wait for the time while drinking a cup of warm coffee when it was cold.

Unterberg on a rainy day
#FallHostelEvent Unterberg, visited during a trip to Salzburg.
I went on a rainy day, but when I went up the mountain, I couldn't see anything.
It was snowing at the top, so I actually enjoyed it. The road is very slippery, so you have to be careful and wear non-slip shoes.

Unterberg with the Salzburg Card
#AutumnHo-kang-seu-event I bought a Salzburg Card 24-hour pass.
You can get free admission and discounts to Salzburg transportation and tourist attractions.
Since the price of the Unterberg cable car is the same as the price of the 24-hour pass, it is much more advantageous to buy the pass and take the bus and cable car.

Unterberg on a rainy day
#FallHostingEvent Unterbetk on a rainy day.
If you have a Salzburg Card, the cable car is free. It took about 30 minutes by bus from downtown Salzburg. The weather was bad, so I couldn't see anything.
If the weather is bad, it's a travel destination you don't necessarily need to go to.
