A must-try for ice cream in Italy! A wide selection of flavours - the tiramisu was my favourite! You could also choose to have cream on the top and a choice between melted dark or milk chocolate for the cup/cone. It’s not cheap but I think the prices are reasonable for the quality you get and something you’ve got to try at least once! Chocolate paradise! Amazing and tast chocolate goods! Value for money! A little bit expensive but SOOO WORTH IT! Recommend to try!

If you are walking around the heart of Florence near the Duomo di Firenze and you smell the aroma of chocolate in the air… follow the scent because it might be Venchi – one of the most famous gelato and chocolate shops in Italy! 🍦 Highlights of the shop • Gelato: Smooth, creamy, rich and not too sweet Recommended flavors: • Gianduia (chocolate mixed with hazelnuts) • Cremino (creamy gelato with a layer of Nutella) • Pistachio (rich, well-rounded, with a real nutty aroma) • Chocolate: Available in many types, both bars, balls and souvenir packs • Chocolate Wall: The chocolate waterfall wall in the shop is a highlight that everyone who comes must take a picture of • Atmosphere: The shop is beautifully decorated, luxurious but easy to access, the staff are friendly and provide excellent service • Location: Not far from important landmarks such as the Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica or Ponte Vecchio, easy to reach 💶 Price The price is a little higher than the general gelato. If you start from the Duomo, walk south along Via Roma and Via Calzaiuoli, then turn right onto Via Calimaruzza to find VENCHI. You can enjoy the local atmosphere while walking through the traditional Italian alleys, adding to the enjoyment of your trip. VENCHI is a famous Italian chocolate and gelato brand founded in 1878. This branch in Florence offers a variety of gelato flavors along with a luxurious interior. As expected from a famous chocolate brand, the gelato also boasts a deep and rich flavor. Upon entering the store, the sweet scent of chocolate fills the air, and the various gelato and chocolate products catch your eye. In addition to gelato, VENCHI offers a variety of products such as chocolate bars and chocolate spreads, all of which are made with high-quality ingredients and are of excellent quality. The gelato experience at VENCHI was truly fantastic. Among the various flavors, the pistachio flavored gelato was particularly impressive. In addition, the staff at the store kindly explained each flavor of gelato, which was a great help in choosing.
