The lockdown nearly drove me insane, but I vowed to myself that I would not stay home forever. I booked the largest room at the W Hotel Bali, widely regarded as the best on the island. Truly, the room was enormous. It featured a spacious balcony overlooking Bali Beach and was large enough to accommodate a game of catching. Once again, I experienced a sense of liberation akin to that of a bird. I was immersed in nature, facing the picturesque beach, and I was able to relish in each sunrise and sunset without missing a beat. Luckily, due to the uncertainty caused by the lockdown, the hotel rates were at an all-time low, so I was able to enjoy a good rate that didn't break my bank account balance.

A standard room starts at $350 per night, not including breakfast or extras. I woke up to the sound of waves and the soft glow of sunrise through floor-to-ceiling windows. The ocean view was priceless—but the stay definitely wasn't. Shortly after, my private driver arrived—a professional who would follow me around the island for the next 10 hours. His service cost $100, plus extra for gas and parking fees. --- ATV Jungle Adventure with Waterfall Stop ($100) First stop: An adrenaline-fueled ATV ride through jungles and waterfalls. Most companies charge around $100 for 1–1.5 hours, including an instructor—and that's exactly what I paid. Dirt, water, steep climbs, and breathtaking views—this was more than just a ride. The highlight? Kopi Luwak—the world's most famous (and controversial) coffee, made from beans digested by civet cats. A cappuccino made from this rare bean cost $10—and yes, it tasted like velvet and stories. --- Private Gallery Tour and Art Purchase Later, we visited a hidden art gallery and the studio of a local Ubud artist. In the afternoon, I walked out of the room and walked towards the beach in slippers. The infinity pool and WooBar of W Hotel are built on the beach, and the DJ's music drifted in the wind, and the atmosphere was just right. The sunset began to dye golden orange, and the whole sea surface was shining with warm light and shadow. The sky was like a palette, beautiful beyond words. I ordered a Mojito and sat in the WooBar facing the sea, watching the sun slowly sink into the Indian Ocean. On the beach, some people were leading horses, some were taking pictures, and some were just like me, just staring blankly. At that moment, I suddenly felt that this was the rhythm of travel. W Bali is not only well-designed, but every detail makes people feel the fashionable soul of the island. Lazy during the day, tipsy at night, and there are also oversized bathtubs and balconies that make people not want to check out. This is a place I want to come back to again. Woobar is a beach club of W Bali, a famous hotel in Seminyak. It is a quiet and elegant beach club, so I visited it to enjoy the sunset. On the last day of my Bali trip, I comfortably traveled by rental car that I booked on Trip.com. It is definitely luxurious because it is a beach club inside the W Hotel. I made a reservation on Google with no minimum charge, but if you are not going to use the pool, you probably don't need a sofa bed. The food and cocktails were all delicious, and the beautiful sunset of Bali Seminyak decorated the last day of my trip beautifully. As soon as we got out of the car, we were deeply impressed by its unique artistic atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located, about 30-40 minutes from the airport, with no traffic jams. As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a unique contemporary style and a strong Balinese vibe. The hotel's decor incorporates the charm of the Indian Ocean, making us eager to stay a little longer. When we checked in, the front desk staff was very professional and enthusiastic, making the whole process very smooth and pleasant. We stayed in the E-wow villa suite, and there are only two of these types of rooms at the W Hotel, so we were lucky! The suite has a large private pool, a spacious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen, all very well arranged. The room has a beautiful view, and the welcome gifts prepared in advance are very thoughtful, including a custom logo card holder, and small items that make you feel warm. The bed is very comfortable, and I woke up feeling refreshed. The hotel's restaurants are not to be missed. The Starfish restaurant's seafood platter for two is simply mouth-watering, especially the Flower Mojito and the uniquely shaped cocktails. It's also a treat to stop by Woobar for a hookah and a cocktail. Breakfast is also very rich and varied, with a buffet and Fire a la carte options, and you can enjoy the unique birdcage design while dining at the seaside restaurant, but the morning sea breeze is a bit strong. Since you're in Bali, you can't miss the vibrant nightlife of Seminyak. There are many interesting restaurants and nightclubs in the area, such as Hiiragi Restaurant and Livingstone Cafe & Bakery, which are all worth a visit. You can also take the hotel's free buggy to nearby convenience stores and spa centers to enjoy yourself. Of course, a perfect trip is not without its little flaws. Although the service attitude is very friendly and enthusiastic, the room is sometimes not thoroughly cleaned, and there were stains on the sheets and washbasin once. Although the staff promptly addressed the issue, I hope the hotel can pay more attention to room hygiene.
