[2025 Dangjin-Si Attraction] Travel Guide for Waemok Village (Updated Jul)

#cherryblossom25 Lots of fun hunting for clams and such, great beach weather. Pretty decent little quiet beach town. The beach scenery was beautiful when we arrived at dawn, and we also saw the sunset. As the water recedes, there are a lot of people picking up seashells. Its a nice place to lay out on the sand and catch some sun. Also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Seosan and Dangjin are good places for a day trip.

In April, daffodils and azaleas bloom beautifully in Dangjin. I recommend a travel destination. 1. I recommend going to the daffodil spot “Seosan Yugibang House” early in the morning. If you do the open run, there won’t be many people, so you can take your time looking around and taking pictures. I like it. Take a picture of your life by the window as soon as you enter. (It gets crowded from 10 o’clock.) 2. If you want to eat raw fish while looking at the West Sea, go to “Wae Mok Pier”. You can eat thick raw fish for 30,000 won at Sudeokho!! Right next door is Waemok Village Beach, so look at the cool sea! 3. If you want to see azalea flowers in a green barley field, go to “Cafe Piera” It’s a cafe where azalea flowers harmoniously blend in with a green barley field 4. “Sapgyoho Amusement Park” where you can end the day by watching the Ferris wheel If you want to see the scenery from up high, take the Ferris wheel. I went without any expectations, but the ocean was nice and it was nice to experience the mudflatsㅡ The parking lot was close, the bathrooms were clean, and there was one on each side of the beach, which was niceㅡ There were also a lot of people paraglidingㅡ There was a convenience store in front of the beach, and there were a lot of raw fish restaurants, which was nice.

I was amazed by the overwhelming force of the sculpture standing on the calmly flowing sea and I learned its meaning so it somehow looks even more wonderful! The water is shallow, so it’s good for lightly dipping your feet, so it’s great for a date course or a place to go with kids! I used the navigation to find ‘WaemokMaeul Pier’. As you go, you’ll see WaemokMaeul guides in large letters, and a public parking lot will appear near the entrance to the beach, so you can park in the public parking lot without going any further. There were a lot of seagulls, and when I threw them food from the beach, they noticed them from far away and gathered around. #HongKongFlightEvent I went to Dangjin to see the sunrise last year! To see the sunrise, people usually go east, but we went to Dangjin because it was far away. It was west, but seeing the vast ocean and the sun rising in the distance made my heart swell. It seems like a great way to start the year by watching the sunrise!

It was a nice place to take a quiet walk… . There are more people than before, but it’s near Seoul… It seems like a nice place to get some fresh air… … ..
