After reading many glowing reviews, we decided to visit Wangbijip Myeongdong Main Store—and it did not disappoint. The Hanwoo beef was excellent—tender, sweet, and clearly of high quality. Compared to Wagyu, it was less fatty, which made it more palatable and enjoyable for us. Each bite was flavorful and satisfying, showing why Hanwoo is so highly regarded. The side dishes were delicious too, complementing the meat perfectly. The restaurant itself has a classic Korean BBQ vibe—simple, lively, and welcoming, with all the usual setup for grilling at your table. This is the BEST Korean bbq I ever had!! First time trying the famous Hanwoo beef in Korea and I love it!! What’s best is that a real Korean oppa grilled meat for me 😍😍 This is not the cheapest Korean bbq place in Korea, is bit pricey. But I think is totally worth it to pay abit more to get good quality beef and ingredients! I mean look at their side dishes, is so nicely presented and it’s very yummy as well! My fav is the pumpkin salad and I had 2 shares of it, oh did I mention all the side dishes are free flow?! The quality of the meat are really fresh, beef is really tender and nice. It’s so nice that we added one more set of pork 😍 you must complete this meal with. Beer, somehow the beer in Korea is not so bitter which why I really like it! And it’s so cheap here omg, their soju are like less than SGD $2? Anyways, I highly recommend this place :)

Thank god we found WBJ at Myeong-dong when despite arriving late in the evening. Tucked at a quiet corner of Myeong-dong it is easy to miss the resteif you don't keep a look out for the signage. Thankfully we relied on google map to find nearby restaurants. Had our first dinner here and tasted our first Hanwoo in a Longggggggg Looooooong time... It's quiet as we were the only tourist. Like the reviews mentioned it is a great place for korean barbecues. Great services and high quality meat at a reasonable price. Not to mention fantastic location. Only 5 mins from our hotel.
