Wat Chedi Thong, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province, Mon art, Mon culture, is a temple that is the center of the Mon people.
Located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River
It is assumed that it is an old temple built since the late Ayutthaya period, but there is no clear history of its construction.
Later in the early Rattanakosin period
This temple was renovated again by a group of Mon immigrants. During the Thonburi and early Rattanakosin periods, there were Mon who fled from the Burmese from the city of Martaban, led by Phraya Cheng, who came to live throughout the city of Sam Khok. He was the initiator of the renovation and construction of permanent structures, huts, and new pavilions. Later, this Phraya Ram was appointed as Phraya Nakhon Khuen Khan, Raman Chat, Minister.
The Mon community of Ban Chedi Thong is considered a large group of Mon people in Sam Khok District.

📍Mon-style pagoda
Located on the riverside, it is a small pagoda with a four-sided plan. The four sides have niches to enshrine Buddha images.
The construction style is like Ananda Pagoda in Bagan, a bell-shaped bell made of bricks on a square base. There is a curved archway, the top is decorated with a 9-tiered umbrella.
Around the pagoda, there are red sandstone sema stones. This sema stone has been with the temple since the beginning. It is assumed that it is a sema stone
During the Ayutthaya period
📍A small castle-shaped pagoda
The top and sculptures of soldiers, half-humans, half-animals, swans and flowers are made of stucco decorated with fragments of colored pottery. The temple has now renovated this pagoda, preserving the architectural style and pottery decoration techniques as before.
📍A white jade Buddha statue
In the Mara-Vijaya posture, it is a Burmese-style Buddha statue enshrined in the prayer hall.
📍In addition, there are Thai-style houses, hip-roof houses, prayer halls, a pulpit, a swan pillar and a centipede flag, which have been with the temple since the beginning.
