Came for a Walk, Ended Up in a Nature Daydream
#summervacay Yeonginsan wasn’t even on my original plan, I just saw the name on a map and thought, “sure, why not?” Best random decision ever. It’s in Chungcheongnam-do, and the vibe is total calm-in-the-forest energy.
The trail is super manageable, nothing too intense, but enough to make you feel like you did something. Trees everywhere, birds doing their thing, and the occasional surprise bench that feels like a gift from the hiking gods. Also, the air? Crisp like a fresh apple. Loved that for me.
Once you get up higher, the views open up and, you’re looking at mountain layers, little towns way below, and clouds drifting like lazy cotton candy. I literally sat on a rock for 20 minutes doing nothing but vibing.
Hardly any people, which made it feel kinda personal. Just me, the trail, and a bag of snacks I definitely overpacked.
Yeonginsan is that underrated, peaceful getaway. No drama, just good hikes and better views. Would 100% go again.
