There is an observation deck on the side of the road, which introduces that the sea water here is divided into two colors, the yellow mud water coming from the mountain and the deep blue sea water. However, maybe it was after a heavy rain, so I didn’t see the two colors clearly on the observation deck. Occasionally, turning into a small alley reveals handmade craft shops or local artist galleries. If time allows, I love sitting in a teahouse, watching the mountain mist slowly rise and gazing at the changing hues of the Yin-Yang Sea. It feels as if time has come to a standstill.

#Taipei itinerary Two days and one night flash trip to Taipei I took an early morning flight to Taiwan on the first day. Then take the bus directly over to Reef Creek. Since the Yin-Yang Sea in Guishan Island is located in the open sea and is not easy to visit, and the Yin-Yang Sea phenomenon in Jinshan Huanggang is not obvious, if we only talk about Yin-Yang Sea in Taiwan, we are mostly referring to the Yin-Yang Sea in Shuinandong.

The upper entrance of the cableway is located next to the parking lot above Quanji Hall. The cableway from Benshan Liukeng to the Thirteen-layer Ore Processing Site is the Wuji Cableway. It passes through two tunnels (the South Tunnel and the North Tunnel) and finally arrives at the parking lot above the Thirteen-layer Site. There is an observation deck next to the cable car (Figure 11-12) where you can see the beautiful Yin Yang Sea. The Liukeng Slope Cableway and the Wuji Cableway had been silent for more than 20 years and were almost submerged in wild grass and weeds. In 2012, a group of old miners in Jinguashi could not bear to see the cableway disappear, so they took sickles and tools, weeded and repaired it, and finally the cableway saw the light of day again. After the news was exposed, it attracted many mountaineers to visit and explore. The efforts of the old miners finally won the attention of the government's cultural department. In December 2013, the New Taipei City government registered the "Shuinandong Benshan Liukengkou and Ropeway System" as a historical building. The old Taijin Mine, located near Shuinandong and Yinyang Sea, is also known as the Thirteen-Layer Ruins. It used to be the largest smelting plant in Shuinandong, Jinguashi and Jiufen, and was used to refine gold, silver and copper ores. From the Shuinan Cave Observation Deck, you can not only see the Yin-Yang Sea, but also overlook the Thirteen-Layer Ruins, Teapot Mountain, and Keelung Mountain.
