Nestled quietly beside the secluded path leading to the famous mountain, just a twenty-minute drive from Mount Emei Station, it’s a perfect haven for solitude and exploration. ◾️The Dwelling: A Delicate Frame in the Wilderness Smart technology blends in seamlessly, with thoughtful touches in every detail. The beloved scent of MALIN+GOETZ lingers in the air, while a Dyson breeze brushes through my hair. The bed offers gentle support, thoughtfully equipped with the snug fit of a latex pillow and the plush softness of a high-down pillow—ensuring a night of sweet dreams. The most enchanting feature is the large balcony overlooking the stream. Opening the window reveals a cascade of greenery, with a clear brook murmuring a song at the valley’s base. Sitting quietly here, letting the water’s melody weave a natural lullaby, body and mind feel gently lifted, sinking into undisturbed tranquility. This luxury of sleeping by the stream is rare in the city. ◾️The Setting: A Private Oasis of Flowing Greenery Yuexi Valley boasts its own secluded stream valley. The most breathtaking experience is dining on the terrace suspended beside the waterfall. The symphony of water plunging into the deep pool fills the ears, while an endless canvas of lush valleys unfolds before the eyes. Paired with mountain breezes and the most luxurious ambiance nature can offer, both palate and heart are intoxicated. Returning from here, it feels as if I’ve brought back a whisper of Mount Emei’s breeze and stream’s melody. A Two-Day, One-Night Hot Spring Getaway in Mount Emei I booked the Yuexi Valley Forest Hot Spring Homestay online in advance. It's located in the valley of Qingyin Pavilion, with lush vegetation and clear streams. Most importantly, it has real hot springs, with both private and public pools. The public pools are quite large, and the private hot spring in the room allows you to enjoy the scenery while soaking, offering a sense of secluded tranquility. On the day I arrived, I couldn't resist having lunch at📍Linjiang Yaoge Eel Noodles. Adding noodles after almost finishing the eel was incredibly delicious. Before leaving Mount Emei the next day, I tried the locally recommended📍Changyao Laodi Oil-Fried Skewers. Fried in marinated oil, they were fragrant and tasted amazing with chili powder🤤 This hot spring trip was both relaxing and delicious!
