In the evenings, there are plenty of night markets nearby. The hotel itself doesn't offer breakfast, but why bother with breakfast when you have plenty of options at the nearby shopping street on Jalan Wong Ah Fook, just across the street? The hotel room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was to our liking, leaning towards the softer side. We were fortunate to secure a corner room for our stay, and the view from it was magnificent. Cleanliness: - In terms cleanliness, the room isn’t really immaculate. Could see some dust settling on the poster frames. Ceiling fans are white with noticeably dust. But generally it’s quite dust free in any other areas in the room. - Carpetted floor are quite clean with no signs of stains. Amenities: - Both living room and bedroom were equipped with smart tv - plus point. So can access Netflix. - Room is very spacious. Suitable to bring guests for parties. - The view from the room at level 19 is unobstructed. So it’s quite scenic. - The tv was installed in the positioned right in front of the bed. - The shower area and bathtub are separated. - The bath tub is very clean and spacious. - Bath tub is super clean. However they need to improve on the visible moulds and the shower area. - Indoor Ventilation fan works well, so no unpleasant smell intruding the bedroom. - Beds and linens are comfortable. Additional pillows can be requested. - For a room that’s spacious, I would prefer a wardrobe that’s covered. Can fully utilise the space instead of an exposed one. Parking: - The Carpark is accessible by the car lift. So be careful when driving into the lift. However there’s a guard to help you manoeuvre & guide you to the vacant parking slot. - The carpark is quite secure as it’s only accessible by guests with access cards only. So you can be worry-free. Attractions: - Located just opposite Pasar Karat which is a weekend night market. Can be seen from the hotel room. - Walkable distance of approximately 8 mins to JB City Square. - Abundance of convenience mart nearby. Service: - For room service, they only replaced the towels and toiletries. #johorbahruhotels Had a pleasant experience.Room was clean and spacious. I love the layout and general design. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast BUT there is a street across the hotel that is filled with many breakfast places. Parking is available in the building itself but must be accessed via lift. There was a buff guard who helped guide us into the lift often. Overall it was a great experience and I will come back to this hotel if I staycay in JB again.

Kick start our trip by arriving in Johor Bahru (JB) by either drive, take a bus, or use the train from Singapore. We took a bus in from woodland checkpoint which was so convenient now!!! Breakfast at a local café and try some local Malaysian breakfast items such as roti canai, nasi lemak, and meehoon goreng. kaya and peanut butter toast is also a must! We headed straight to Toppen Shopping Mall, located in Taman Mount Austin. The mall is known for its wide variety of stores, ranging from high street brands to local boutiques, making it a shopper’s paradise. You can spend some time exploring all the retail options, from fashion to tech gadgets. For us, we chose to play their indoor adventure park!! lf you enjoy gourmet or local groceries, visit Jaya Grocer in Toppen Mall for some unique finds and snacks. Changee can be found there too. After exploring the city, head to Danga Bay for a pleasant evening. It's a beautiful waterfront area with restaurants, cafes, and a great atmosphere. We had some seafood feast for dinner. z hotel is located near the CIQ custom and it's beautiful and simple. They have beautiful staffs and very attentive. You will enjoy your stay there.

The location is in the center of Johor Bahru, near the checkpoint. You can walk to Johor Bahru Old Street and City Square. Food, clothing, housing and transportation are all within walking distance. Luckily, I got a room with a panoramic view of Johor Bahru. Very beautiful scenery. The room is also simple, clean and tidy. My sensitive nose did not flare up all night. In general, it is a cost-effective three-star hotel. There is nothing to complain about.

First time booking Z Hotel from the recommendation of our friends and we were quite impressed! Views were amazing and rooms were modern and clean. Walkable from City Square so you save on Grab fares. We were on the 17th floor and you can kind of hear the cars and motorcycles but honestly it wasn't that bad. TV could stream netflix and youtube too! Booked the hotel for a weekend getaway to JB! Thought the hotel is pretty near to city square but we took roughly 10-15mins to walk to the hotel. Staff is quite friendly and room is spacious. But cleanliness can be improved as bed sheet and pillow case got some hole and stains. Air con is not as cold as we adjusted to the lowest temperature but it still feel like room temperature. #hotelreview
