Bingsheng Zen Tea is located next to the main entrance of Xiaogang Park in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. It is a vegetarian restaurant selected by the Michelin Guide. The restaurant has a simple style and its two-story structure is fully equipped with private rooms, making it perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. The interior has soft colors and the decoration combines traditional and modern elements. The hanging handwritten "Heart Sutra" and the statues placed on display, as well as the green plants outside the window, make the whole space full of Zen.
The main dish is "Casserole Sauerkraut Stuffed with White Mushrooms". The sauerkraut sauce is very appetizing and the white mushrooms are tender. Although it is a richly seasoned dish, it does not feel greasy.
