At that moment, I seemed to hear the call of the Age of Exploration. The cobblestone road under the city wall winds into the city. As soon as you walk into the center of the old city, you will see stone houses, galleries and coffee. 🥞 At noon, I ordered the most authentic buckwheat salty crepe (Galette), which is filled with melted cheese, ham and mushrooms. There’s a direct TGV high-speed train from Paris, departing from Montparnasse station. If you plan to return late in the evening, you can transfer at Rennes. The Saint-Malo train station is very close to the attractions, and you can easily walk to them. 🏰 Attractions: 1. Grand Bé At low tide around noon, you can walk directly to this small island that emerges when the tide recedes. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Saint-Malo castle. 2. Môle des Noires This lighthouse is also worth a visit. You can capture stunning views of the beach, boats, and the castle all in one frame. 3. Saint-Malo Cathedral The cathedral’s large stained glass windows are breathtaking. In the afternoon, sunlight streams through the windows, casting a beautiful purple glow inside. 4. The wind here was so strong that it almost blew people away. "Saint-Malo Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Vincent de Saint-Malo)", the interior of the church is tall and solemn. After dealing with the rush at saint Mont michell, our next stop was saint malo. First impressions were very promising. Here was a beautiful city, bigger abs less crowded than Mont Michelle. What was striking is that the whole town looked like a medieval fort and the coast around. With good weather this made for a fantastic holiday setting. The place seemed lively with restaurants and shopping venues. The main thing to do here is to walk the ramparts of saint malo. That provided for plenty of views. We even headed to the beach we spotted while walking. It was a nice beach with clear water. I think you wont be disappointed by saint malo. #myhiddengems

So we chose to try these. ➡️ Grapefruit - When we tasted it, the outer skin of the Macaron was a bit hard. The filling was jam with a clear grapefruit scent, but it was extremely sweet. ➡️ Strawberry - A beautiful pink piece with strawberry jam filling that was just as sweet as the first piece. ➡️ Violette - A cream filling with a light, sweet floral scent. It smells good. ➡️ Pain d’Epices – Ginger bread (cake) flavor is my favorite. When I made it into a macaron filling, I liked it more than the other flavors. ➡️ Caramel au beurre salé – Sea Salt Caramel is a specialty of the Brittany-Normandie region. So this one is a must-try.
