Another fantastic stay at the Marina Hotel! The location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the beach and sea. Starting each day with the delicious buffet breakfast outdoors was truly a highlight. The hotel itself is stunning, set in such an amazing spot, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Huge thanks to the warm and attentive staff who took great care of us. We're already looking forward to coming back!

This outing turned out to be pricey, costing €100 plus parking for three people, but it was a pleasant escape from the heat and thoughtfully designed for children. The Aquarium features a nice variety of fish inside the building as well as outdoor tanks. The highlight, undoubtedly, is the impressive Shark tank. There are photo stations that delight kids but may also tempt you into spending more. Food options inside are costly, although we brought fruits to enjoy outside the restaurant area. The ice cream and coffee at the café were quite good. For convenience, the attached underground parking is the way to go. During our visit, the outdoor play area was under renovation, so we can’t comment on that.

The hotel offers a warm, luxurious feel without being overly crowded. It’s absolutely ideal for anyone looking to unwind—whether you're a couple, a family, or just someone who wants to sit back and watch a gorgeous sunset over the Arabian Gulf. 🌅 I was impressed from the moment I stepped into the lobby. The whole place smells fantastic, the staff is super friendly with great smiles, and check-in was a breeze! 🛎️ The interior blends classic and modern decor, creating a spotless and serene environment. There are plenty of cozy corners to relax, making it the perfect spot for a true slow-life getaway. 🤍 The room was much more spacious than I expected, and the bed was unbelievably soft! 🛏️ I slept so well I didn't want to get up. The bathroom is huge, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower, plus fully stocked, easy-to-use amenities. The view is simply stunning, especially if you get a sea-view room. 🌊 Opening the curtains in the morning to see the sun glittering on the water is the absolute best feeling. Another highlight for me was the balcony. It's close to so many key spots—you can literally just walk over to Marina Mall! 🛍️ The area really comes alive at night with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and a lovely seaside promenade. The atmosphere is top-notch. Previously, Kuwait visas cost tens of thousands of yuan. Now, with a Schengen or US visa plus an entry stamp, you can get an e-visa and travel anytime! Applying yourself is very convenient; a single entry costs 3 dinars, and it's usually issued on the same day or the next. Taking advantage of this trip to Europe, I also checked out this small Middle Eastern country that was previously difficult to visit. Although it's not a tourist city, a day trip there was very fulfilling. 🇰🇼 Kuwait Day Trip 📍Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Center A surprisingly hidden gem! Tickets: 3 dinars Visiting six museums in one trip can easily fill an afternoon! 👀 The best part is that it's not crowded, and the interactive experiences are very well designed. From astronomy and geography to biology and humanities, it's full of technological wonder! 🔭 📍Kuwait Tower Kuwait's own "Pearl of the Orient," 3 dinars to climb, exterior view available. 📍Al Hamra Tower Also a landmark, 3 dinars to the top, overlooking Kuwait City. 📍Grand Mosque of Kuwait Free entry, robes provided at the entrance, guided tours available, very good explanations, the interior is magnificent and worth seeing. 📍Al Mubarakiya Kuwait's old market, a lively market, a great place to experience the local atmosphere. Lots of food options, you can eat while you stroll, perfect for an evening visit. 📍National Museum of Kuwait Free entry, the museum is closed in the afternoon, so check the opening hours. Two exhibition areas, mainly showcasing local history and folk culture. 🏨Stayed at JW Marriott Kuwait I only found out this place was newly opened when I arrived in the city, and I was one of the first guests! The experience was great. They arranged airport pickup, and I checked in early at 11 am. The next day, when I casually mentioned how delicious the desserts were, they thoughtfully gave me a box of them! 🚖Careem is very convenient for taking taxis. A taxi in the city center costs about 1 dinar, and a bus costs 1/4 dinar (0.25). 🎟Remember not to go directly through immigration. Go to the Visa Issuing area first and queue up. They will print out your e-visa, stamp it, and take your photo and fingerprints. We spent a total of one hour there. 💡I exchanged money at the airport. 100 dollars is about 30 dinars, which is more valuable than the Bahrainian currency…

#songkran2024 crazy and amazing song kran festival at Su-ngai Golok, it has been a month long of fiery hot weather for us. Decided to go have some fun at south of Thailand to join the water splashing festival. Everyone was in the mood of festive and we practically splashed water on each other. Also, the foods were nice and authentic. Will drop by again next for songkran festival to have more fun.
