🪵 An Afternoon in a Bookstore in a Hanok — Gyeongcheonseorim
Nakdonggang Riverside, Sangju, Heading to Gyeongcheon Island along the bike path
Following the small signposts, you come across a Hanok.
That's Gyeongcheonseorim.
It looks like a quiet traditional house from the outside,
but the moment you open the door and step inside,
all your senses are calmed by books, teacups, sunlight, and scents.
The interior is a space that preserves the original structure of the room,
with a few tables, and small, deep books on each bookshelf.
A real 'seorim' where you can feel the owner's curation, from literature, essays, design, and philosophy.
🍃 When you sit on the floor and look out the window,
green fields, rivers, and curtains swaying in the wind—
a picture unfolds that doesn't need any frame.
📌 Tip
On weekends, I recommend going at opening time!
It's a great route to stop by after a walk on Gyeongcheon Island
It's also good to stop by during a bike trip!
The stationery and tea sets in the prop shop are also very pretty
If you love books,
If you're looking for rest and quiet inspiration,
You should definitely stop by Gyeongcheon Seorim.
