Peony hotpot that I always visit every year [Iwaya] in Tanba Sasayama It's in the mountains and you need a car to access it, but I go there every year during the season 🐗🐗 It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from the nearest station. This morning we drove from Fairfield Inn Kyoto Tamba to Sasayama Castle. This time we mainly came to see the Daishoin (why is Daishoin more attractive to me than Sasayama Castle? XD). The cafe is set in a grand mansion where you can enjoy the view of the lush greenery and the dry landscape garden! While admiring such a beautiful scenery, I had the black bean soft serve! It was rich and very delicious! When I was leaving, the staff told me a lot about the garden and the mansion, which was very interesting!
