#August2024 The City Hall of Toulouse is a landmark. If you are lucky, you can enter it for free, but you cannot enter it every day. During wedding season or when there are conferences, I think it would be difficult to get in and watch. It was a pleasant surprise to enter. #August2024 Location of Hôtel Des Ambassadeurs Toulouse - Right next to the train station, just a few steps from the city center, about 20 minutes walk to the main attractions, several supermarkets and many restaurants downstairs. Trip.com is the cheapest, with a single room costing around $400 a night. It is a cheap hotel by no means, however, it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rectangular room was consistent with the photos on the website. There is a TV and wireless internet access. And the bedding was very comfortable. The only thing was that guests with large suitcases had difficulty carrying them up the stairs, and the staff were willing to help. You get what you pay for, don't expect luxury, but there is a 24/7 reception, our standard room had everything we needed and the location is great.

The restaurant offers traditional cuisine based on the daily market, with a touch of freshness given by the ever-changing dishes. Fresh and local products are the priority, such as duck, red meat, veal, beef and fish as the staple foods. They also offer Toulouse sausage casserole, but it's too big for one person. During the two days I went there, I had fried veal one day and toulouse sausage the next, served with balsamic jelly soup and caramel custard. Great French food!
