Backpacking A Luoi - Quang Tri.
🌳🏞⛰"Quang Luoi" 3N2D is for dreamers and adventurers.🏍🚘
What is this place name that sounds strange, or is it a newly named province?
That's right, and I'm the one who named this journey along the Ho Chi Minh trail - a journey called "Quang Luoi" ☺.
It is a route about 400km long, connecting from the center of Hue city through A Luoi town - a mountainous district of Thua Thien Hue - where the ethnic minorities of Ta Oi, Pa Ko, Co Tu live... to the end point is Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province - where the ethnic minorities of Van Kieu live...
There, now everyone understands where the name "Quang Luoi" comes from, it is a combination of A Luoi and Quang Tri, a combination for a wonderful backpacking route.
It sounds like the Ho Chi Minh trail but in fact the road is not worn at all, in return it is very wide, airy and smooth, driving is smooth like a mother's heart 😄
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh trail was also known as the Truong Son road, a strategic logistics route providing troops, materials, weapons and equipment to support the army to liberate the South for 16 years. Now the Ho Chi Minh trail has inherited and developed to form a traffic route along the North and South, nestled between rice fields, streams, rivers, and primeval forests, tropical forests, the Ho Chi Minh trail is now like a bright gem in the hearts of those who love pure experiential tourism.
From Hue city, we will climb up and down the winding slopes like a sine graph, with mountains on one side and valleys on the other, and every now and then we are given a golden stream flowing from the top of the mountain down. If you forget to bring water, you can take a few sips, it's okay 😅.
What to do in A Luoi town? After choosing a homestay in the Anor tourist community area, what else is there to do besides feasting on the local specialties such as mountain frogs, stream fish, goats, wild vegetables, young bamboo shoots,... or even more addictive, a little rice wine or dong dong wine, then that night, oh my gosh, so high that you forget your way home, sleeping for 6 days and 6 nights, you can't wake up, the host can't wake you up, hate you 😆
Oh, but if you get too drunk, how can you sober up!? Wear that drunk face, go to A Lin stream to take a bath, if you're not sober yet, leave your body under the water of A Nor waterfall, let the water wash away the alcohol and all the sins we've committed (for example, creating too much karma with a close friend 😂).
From A Luoi, if you want to go to Huong Phung - Quang Tri, we need to be determined in setting the alarm clock 😄.
Wake up at 5am, wipe your face 3 times to wake up, get on the bus and go to the town market, find something to eat, and conveniently watch the trading of ethnic minorities, with a pretty basket on your back.
Cross the small fields, watch the buffaloes and goats wandering around the stream, watch the early morning sun shine through the clouds leisurely flying around the mountainside, the early morning mist covers the distance, the kids ride each other to school,
