It is a route about 400km long, connecting from the center of Hue city through A Luoi town - a mountainous district of Thua Thien Hue - where the ethnic minorities of Ta Oi, Pa Ko, Co Tu live... to the end point is Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province - where the ethnic minorities of Van Kieu live... There, now everyone understands where the name "Quang Luoi" comes from, it is a combination of A Luoi and Quang Tri, a combination for a wonderful backpacking route. It sounds like the Ho Chi Minh trail but in fact the road is not worn at all, in return it is very wide, airy and smooth, driving is smooth like a mother's heart 😄 Previously, the Ho Chi Minh trail was also known as the Truong Son road, a strategic logistics route providing troops, materials, weapons and equipment to support the army to liberate the South for 16 years. Now the Ho Chi Minh trail has inherited and developed to form a traffic route along the North and South, nestled between rice fields, streams, rivers, and primeval forests, tropical forests, the Ho Chi Minh trail is now like a bright gem in the hearts of those who love pure experiential tourism. Let's see Hieu's 3-day, 2-night trip to explore Quang Tri. 1. Accommodation • The first morning we arrived in Dong Ha, we booked 2 rooms for convenience in resting and storing luggage, and at noon we had a place to sleep and regain strength to go camping on Cu Vo peak in the afternoon. •At night, we camped at Cu Vo Peak (no charge) • On the 2nd day, we stayed at Nam Mua Bungalow, we booked a 2-bedroom house for 800k/house 5. Food and drink Food in Quang Tri is super cheap and delicious, priced from only 20-30k/dish. Our group mainly went to the market to grill food for dinner and chill. 🇻🇳 DETAILED REVIEW OF THE 4-DAY, 3-NIGHT QUANG BINH - QUANG TRI TRIP WITH 4.2 MILLION VND (At the end of the article, there is an important note about the route) “We traveled without regretting our lives How can we not regret our twenties But if everyone regrets their twenties, what is left of the Fatherland?” In my twenties, I had an emotional trip to the once fiery Quang Tri. Although I had researched and planned to go to Quang Tri many times, I did not think this time would come so soon. This trip, Quang Binh was indeed just a stepping stone for me to go to Quang Tri. But it cannot be denied that Quang Binh is also very beautiful. ✈️✈️Transportation - Hanoi - Quang Binh: This trip started from hunting for cheap Vietjet air tickets to Dong Hoi airport. I went round trip for only 1900K including checked baggage. - Traveling in Quang Binh: I went to Phong Nha, Dong Hoi so I rented a private car to travel from the airport to Phong Nha, from Phong Nha to Bai Da Nhay and then back to Dong Hoi center. I rented a car from Mr. Tran Hung (Phone: 0941819345). He was cheerful and enthusiastically supported our group throughout the trip. - Traveling in Quang Binh - Quang Tri: We rented a motorbike from Truong Phat. The rental price is 120k/day/manual motorbike. This side delivers to your door for a fee of 15k/way/bike. The car is okay, not very new so everyone should consider it. Gasoline for our entire trip was 300k/2 motorbikes (this cost can be lower if you choose a better motorbike rental place) 🏡🏡Accommodation For 3 days of the trip, I chose to stay at 3 different homestays - In Phong Nha: I booked Highway 20 Homestay on the booking site. The price is super good, only 260k/room/night. This homestay reminds me of going to work and going back to my hometown. The homestay is pretty, not spacious but has its own color, very peaceful. A big plus is that the food cooked by the homestay is extremely delicious. The owners are very enthusiastic. - In Dong Hoi: I stayed at Luti Homestay. This homestay is 700k/night for a room for 3 people. The homestay is located at the end of Nhat Le beach, the sea view is extremely beautiful, the food is quite fresh and the price is reasonable. However, the most important thing about the homestay is the accommodation service, which I rate as quite bad. The room is extremely dirty, there is not enough water for the number of people. I felt like they only changed the bed sheets and didn't clean the room, not to mention the bathroom smelled of seafood. It was right next to the sea but the room didn't feel airy at all, but on the contrary, it was very humid. The plus point was that the homestay let us leave our suitcases to go to Quang Tri without charging any fee. - In Quang Tri: I chose to stay in the center of Dong Ha town for convenience. We booked Concept Maison Homestay. This was the most beautiful and cute homestay on our trip. The staff was slow and spoke professionally in the style of a hotel. The room was new, fragrant, beautiful, spacious and extremely clean. The room price was 700k/night for a room for 4 people.
