#malaysia The BOH Sungei Palas Tea Garden is a wonderful place to be at - it's a tea farm, a cafe, a museum and also a sourvenir shop! I'm sure almost everyone in Malaysia has at least a BOH teabag at home. This wonderful place is where the famous Malaysian brand tea is harvested! Have your breakfast against the beautiful backdrop of tea fields! The cakes were scrumptious and the tea were of course delicious. When you're done, you can walk around the area and enjoy a tea factory tour! Take note; the road up is quite steep and narrow, you may want to hire a tour guide to bring you up as it's not for the faint hearted! My friends and I took a road trip to Cameron Highlands and had the chance to dine in a tea plantation! We were atop on the mountainside and could enjoy sweeping views of the vast plantation greenery. The staff were also very nice to arrange the tables such that we could all sit together. Of course, we had to try their tea here as well! Some of us had plain tea, some with honey and some with milk, many to choose from. They also have a shop where you can buy back nicely packaged boxes of tea to bring back home, sweet! Boh Tea garden is one of the most iconic attractions in Cameron Highlands, it's around 4km away from the famous Kea Farm market. No tickets is required when entrance to this beautiful plantation They do have the visitor center with a cafe, gallery & souvenir shop. Besides that, they sell a wide range of tea products for those who want to buy some tea products for the souvenir. They also have factory besides there to show how they crafts their tea. The most well known tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is the Boh Tea Plantation. We were immediately struck by how vast this plantation is, covering about 465 hectares. Our guide explained some of the history of the plantation, which is still owned by the original British founders, and how the workers harvest and transport the tea leaves. Our adventurous side got the better of us on our last day in Cameron Highlands - we booked a tour that included hiking in the Mossy Forest. It had rained heavily in the morning, so it was very foggy, and we felt like we were walking through the clouds. Up in Mossy Forest, we saw pitcher plants, ferns, and plant life unique to that climate. Although there is a clear walkway and stairs, be very very careful because it can be slippery, especially after rain. #timetotravel #malaysia #cameronhighlands #mossyforest

Coral hill at Cameron Highland is a Mossy forest with a stunning view and mysterious view. Coral hill with a hieght of 1650m actually is a mountain sometimes known as the upper and cloud forest. This trail is mostly flat and takes you through the jungle to a peak with a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.An easy 20 minutes hike one way but beware the ground is very slogging. #cameronhighland #newyearadventure

if u travelling to Cameron highland via simpang pulai route you will reach avant chocolate. even if you are traveling from perak to kelantan.. you can stop at this place because it's located at lojing area. for those who looking for an uncrowded place.. avant is the best options. you can have a coffee or tea here, have a snack, and try some food in their menu. they also sell a variety popscircle ice cream.

📍Address: Boh Tea Centre, Habu Cameron Highland 🕰️Business Hours: 8.30am-4.30am (closed every Monday) 💞Reasons to Recommend: local brand, less crowded, good view, can ride a bus (bas kilang) to the centre, free entry, near to Tapah exit - this is one of the biggest tea plantation in Cameron Highland. - the factory here was built since 1935, it is 1700m from the sea level and it produces 1,250,000 KG of teas per annum which is about 1,710,000 cups of teas PER DAY! - in the weekend, they provide a shuttle bus from parking to the factory. in weekday you can drive your own car or trekking to the top. the view uphill is beautiful. - the cafe serves quite a lot of dessert like cake and scones. they also serves savoury food like Nasi Lemak, Mee Kari, and Soto. - we can visit the factory at certain time slot, to see how they process the tea leaves. it was stated that it’s a guided tour however during our visit, there’s no guide to explain anything so we just see it cluelessly. - we can hike a little bit to the top, 215 steps, the viewpoint, it was magnificent. - from the top, we can see the shuttle bus going up and down the hill in the scenic view, lurveee - beside the cafe, there’s a merch store where you can buy their teas and souvenir.

The final stretch to the forest entrance is a steep, narrow mountain road. What to Expect There’s a wooden boardwalk trail that winds through the forest, making it accessible even if you’re not a hardcore hiker. As you walk, you'll feel like you're floating through the trees — sometimes you literally are! The moss hangs from every branch, and the cool air feels like a refreshing contrast to the lowlands. Don’t forget to look out for: Pitcher plants (some of which are carnivorous!) Wild orchids Tiny critters and colorful fungi Best Time to Visit Try to go in the morning when the sky is clearer and crowds are smaller. Endless tea terraces roll across the hills, and the air is so crisp it makes you forget you’re still in Malaysia. 🍃☁️ We made our way to the BOH Sungai Palas Tea Centre, where you can sip freshly brewed tea at their cliffside café with panoramic views of the plantation. I had their signature BOH black tea with scones — simple, satisfying, and served with that million-dollar view. 🫖✨ The visitor center also has a small exhibition area showing how tea is made, and there’s a factory tour (check the schedule!) if you’re curious about the behind-the-scenes. 💡 Roads leading there can be narrow and winding, so go slow and aim for a weekday morning visit to avoid crowds. That said, I personally preferred the Bharat Tea Plantation. It was much easier to access, right off the main road, with ample parking and great photo spots. Their café serves locally grown tea and a wider variety of desserts. And honestly? The convenience alone made it a more relaxing experience. 💡 If you’re short on time (or just want an easier drive), Bharat is a solid pick. After lunch at Tanah Rata or Brinchang, can visit Big Red Strawberry Farm and have some strawberry dessert. Then take a walk at Cameron Centrum Day 2 - Try some scones for breakfast then head to Agro Market and Kea Farm to buy strawberries and corn. Then visit the Sheep Sanctuary and say hello to the sheep. They love it if you feed them. Head to Water Cress Valley for lunch and visit Lavender Garden. Continue on to visit very colorful Green View Garden before going back using the Simpang Pulai exit.
