Cruise: You can take a 3-star Li River cruise, which includes the scenic area transportation fee (electric cart). A cruise along the Li River is an unforgettable experience. Amidst spectacular limestone peaks, you will see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffalo cooling off in the river. Disembark in Yangshuo town around 13:30.

A boxed lunch is served on board and is included in the cruise ticket.

Silver Cave runs through twelve mountains and is renowned for its majestic, strange, secluded, and beautiful features. Inside the cave, it is dim and winding, with stalactites formed during various geological periods.

Yangshuo Thousand-Mile River and Mountains (Real-Life Panorama)

Not a painting, but a breathtaking natural landscape mirroring the Northern Song scroll A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by Wang Ximeng. Located at Xiyang Mountain, Yangshuo County, this globally renowned photography destination was named one of the World's Top 10 Photography Spots in 2019 and served as a backdrop for CCTV's 2017 National Day special.

From the top observation deck, enjoy unobstructed 360° views of cone-shaped karst peaks, winding Li River tributaries, lush rice paddies, and traditional villages. The golden hour before sunset bathes the peaks in warm golden-green light, creating a living ink painting. On rainy days followed by clear skies, floating mists add a fairy-tale charm.

Shiwai Taoyuan (Paradise Beyond the World/Shangri-La Park)

Visitors typically start with a boat tour on Yanzi Lake, gliding past peach groves, farmlands, and through Yanzi Cave, where ethnic groups like the Dong, Zhuang, and Miao present welcoming rituals and traditional singing and dancing.

On land, you can explore iconic minority architectures including drum towers, wind-rain bridges, and singing stages, as well as experience folk crafts like traditional papermaking. The whole journey takes 1–2 hours, offering a peaceful escape just like the utopia described in the ancient text, perfect for nature lovers and cultural explorers.

Ancient Bridge Exploration Light Footsteps on Fuli Bridge

Stepping on the bluestone slabs of the century-old Fuli Bridge, half of the bridge's reflection is immersed in the clear blue waves. The karst peak forest serves as a natural backdrop, and every step and frame exudes an ink-wash painting atmosphere.

Rafting: Yulong River is known as the Little Li River in Yangshuo. The bamboo raft ride is one of the most peaceful and beautiful experiences in Guilin.

Glide slowly along crystal-clear water, passing by ancient stone bridges, lush bamboo groves, and classic karst mountains. Unlike motorized boats, these traditional bamboo rafts are quiet, letting you enjoy the calm countryside scenery.

It's perfect for relaxing, taking photos, and feeling like you're inside a Chinese landscape painting.

Important notes for two-person bamboo rafting
1. The raft is designed to accommodate 2 passengers. Solo travelers who cannot be paired with another guest will need to pay an additional fee for a private raft.
2. Not permitted: For safety reasons, the Yulong River rafting scenic area stipulates that individuals over 70 years old, childrenren under 1 meter in height, pregnant women, the disabled, and those with heart diseases, coronary heart disease, and hypertension are not allowed to board the raft. If travelers fall within these categories, their raft ticket will be refunded according to the travel agency's negotiated price.
3. Height Requirement: For child with a height of 1 meter or above, please purchase at the adult price.
4. Weight Limit: A person's weight must not exceed 100 kilograms, or the combined weight of 2 persons must not exceed 160 kilograms. Otherwise, they will have to take a separate bamboo raft for 1 person, and the fee will be charged per raft.

If you are unable to take the double-person bamboo raft, you can choose the 4-person or 8-person bamboo raft instead. People aged 70 and children under 1 meter can also ride on them. It is suitable for family group.

As you stroll along Yangshuo's West Street, this world-renowned historic lane, gaze up at the twilight sky. Amid the lively atmosphere, it feels calm and unhurried, offering a peaceful escape from the city's bustle.
