Xianggong Mountain is a celebrated scenic spot and a world-renowned photography paradise located on the west bank of the Li River in Xingping Town.

Standing at an altitude of about 350 meters, the mountain features over 500 stone steps, and it generally takes 20 to 30 minutes to hike to the summit. The mountaintop viewing platform, composed of five wooden tiers, offers an unrivaled 270-degree panoramic overlook of the First Bend of the Li River. From here, visitors can feast their eyes on a breathtaking landscape where orderly arranged karst peaks tower like jade pillars, and the crystal-clear Li River winds gracefully through the mountains, resembling a green silk ribbon.

Yangshuo's Thousand-Mile River and Mountains Panorama: a must-visit viewpoint that looks like a real-life ink painting

This is not a painting hung on a wall, but a breathtaking natural landscape that closely mirrors the iconic blue-green landscape scroll a Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by Wang Ximeng from the Northern Song dynasty.
