6-Day Yunnan Classic Tour: Kunming, Dali & Lijiang
Day 1: Arrival in Kunming – 24H Private Transfer
Your Yunnan adventure begins with a 24-hour private airport or train station pickup. Transfer to your hotel in Kunming for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city on your own.
Day 2: Kunming → Dali – Stone Forest & Bullet Train to Dali
After breakfast, set out to discover the Stone Forest – a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring towering limestone pillars shaped over millions of years (including electric cart). Explore this surreal karst landscape, taking the electric cart for a leisurely ride through stone peaks and natural bridges. In the afternoon, board a high-speed train to Dali. Upon arrival, a private driver will escort you to Dali. In the evening, wander through Dali Ancient Town. Overnight in Dali.
Day 3: Dali – Fengyangyi, Panxi S-Bend & Xizhou Ancient Town
Visit Fengyangyi, a quiet village made famous by a hit TV drama. Then head to the iconic Panxi S-Bend, the most photographed spot along Erhai Lake's ecological corridor. Continue to Xizhou Ancient Town, where you can wander through its well-preserved traditional courtyard houses and explore the local markets. Overnight in Dali.
Day 4: Dali → Lijiang – The Dream Land, Shuanglang & Transfer to Lijiang
Travel along the eastern shore of Erhai Lake. Visit The Dream Land (the "Santorini of Dali"), a white-washed hillside complex with panoramic terraces. Then stop to view Wase Village and Xiaoputuo Island from a distance. Continue to Shuanglang Ancient Town, known for its seaside cafes and the iconic Jade Pen Islet. In the afternoon, drive to Lijiang (approx. 2.5 hours). Arrive in Lijiang and check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Lijiang Ancient Town on your own. Overnight in Lijiang.
Day 5: Lijiang → Kunming – Jade Dragon Snow Mountain & High-Speed Train
A full-day tour to the sacred Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Ride the Yunshanping Cable Car up to a lush alpine meadow surrounded by primeval spruce forests. Watch the grand open-air performance Impression Lijiang directed by Zhang Yimou. Then descend to Blue Moon Valley, famous for its turquoise crescent-shaped pools. In the late afternoon, board a high-speed train back to Kunming (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival, a private driver will transfer you to your Kunming hotel.
Day 6: Kunming Departure – 24H Private Airport/Train Station Drop-off
