The tasting menu started with a welcome drink, which was a nice touch. Wine pairing was solid, sommelier knew their stuff and explained each pour without being pretentious. Food itself was good, though maybe not mind-blowing. Felt like a proper meal, not just a show. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
The owner stopped by to talk about his cooking background—that personal touch made the meal feel more genuine. Fresh seafood, simple and good.
We ended up in the wine cellar downstairs, no reservation, just lucky. The staff made it feel like they actually wanted us there. That little corner with the low lights and bottles everywhere… I kept looking around instead of at my plate. Food was solid, wine even better. Didn’t want to leave, honestly.
