A decent lounge, it would be better if there were more Asian food
20250505 11:25Am Sydney to Xiamen. Maybe it was the last day of the May Day holiday? Why are there so many people at this airport? I have been shuttling back and forth at Sydney Airport for ten years and have never seen so many passengers at Sydney Airport. It took two hours to queue up from the card processing hall to the boarding gate in the waiting hall. I had made all kinds of plans to miss the plane, but the result was much better than expected. Not only did I not miss the flight, but I also had enough time to take a commemorative photo. Xiamen Airlines has first-class service, first-class catering, and relatively spacious seats. I arrived in Xiamen smoothly all the way. The road signs at Xiamen Airport are clear and clear. Because there is a transfer, I need to consult the relevant procedures at Gate 5 of the airport terminal. Wow! The consulting staff at that airport is a girl. She was surrounded by many people and asked questions. I saw that she always smiled and answered everyone's questions. I admired her from the bottom of my heart! Xiamen Airlines provides free accommodation and meals for all passengers who need to stay overnight (I don't know if domestic transfers are free), and free airport pick-up (not responsible for free airport drop-off). I completed the formalities at Gate 8 and got on the designated bus. The whole bus was full of people who were all in the same hotel - Xiamen Airlines Hotel. Xiamen Airlines Hotel: 4 stars, I need a single room, and I added 140¥. The room is great. This morning, I asked if I would normally stay in this room. The answer was: more than 500¥, it is the best room in the whole hotel. I was very happy. Isn't this a bargain? Me! Free breakfast, Chinese and Western food, all available, service staff are dressed in formal clothes. I was moved when I passed by Xiamen! Xiamen is so nice! Thumbs up for you 👍 Next time I fly, I will choose Xiamen Airlines.
View of Sydney Airport, very busy, long queues for security check, including passengers in both cabins #SydneyTravel
