MO BAR

This is a really great place with amazing original cocktails, good music and lovely staff. The only thing is that it's very expensive (1 cocktail costs ~160CNY). I loved the place!

Environment: Mo Bar is on the 5th floor of Wangfujing Cultural Oriental Hotel, divided into two areas, the inner and outer areas. I personally feel that the height of the indoor tables and chairs is more comfortable. The outdoor platform has a good view, and you can see the tops of some buildings in the Forbidden City, but the height of the table is inhumanely low. It is better to sit indoors and run out to take pictures when you want to. I came here specifically for the Red Forbidden City Little Lion Cocktail and the Jade Heavenly Palace (Temple of Heaven) Cocktail. They are not on the menu. You have to ask the waiter and then order on Mo Bar's WeChat. Both drinks are good-looking non-alcoholic ice cubes. Pour in a cocktail of about 20 degrees. After the ice melts, the degree is very low. The taste is quite recommended.

Stepping onto the terrace, you're instantly ready to embark on a journey through the grasslands. The pristine white yurt features camel-hair blankets, a stove, a leather teapot, and meticulous attention to detail. I stayed at the Wangfujing MO for three nights during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday this year. Both its strengths and weaknesses were very apparent! While the overall experience was much better than my initial impression, I honestly wouldn't return again. 💰 The value for money was too low... 📍[Location] Impeccable✨ It's a 10-minute walk to the Forbidden City🏯, but it's located above the Wangfu Central shopping mall🛒, making the public areas a bit cramped and shabby. The rooms are decorated in a neo-Chinese style, which isn't quite to my liking, but it's in keeping with the MO's usual style (older folks might appreciate it). 💁[Service] YYD! Aside from a minor hiccup during check-in, it was basically perfect💯! ✔️Butler service responded instantly📱 ✔️Response to requests was incredibly quick⚡ ✔️Two issues were handled very effectively👍 (Secretly: The service is even better than the Peninsula next door!) 🍽️Breakfast: A major drawback!
