Food and Snacks
The snacks are exquisite and creative, perfectly blending traditional flavors with modern elements, such as the signature "Beijing Roast Duck" cigar, which looks like a cigar and is wrapped with Beijing roast duck flavored ingredients, black truffle fries with a crispy texture, and snacks such as snails, which are also well received.

The gifts that catch the eye at the Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center are those from the "socialist camp." The dozen or so friendly nations, led by the Soviet Union, were the first to recognize and establish diplomatic ties. Among the gifts are nine countries: Poland, the Czech Republic, East Germany, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Mongolia, and North Korea. Only the Bulgarian gilded roses and the Czech crystal cups possess their own unique characteristics; the other Eastern European gifts, mixed in, are practically indistinguishable. Both Asian countries have distinctive features: Mongolia's is a sword, and North Korea's is a large embroidery patterned with the phrase "Three Thousand Miles of Splendid Rivers and Mountains." Yugoslavia, Vietnam, and Cuba, having established diplomatic ties later, are ranked in the second tier. A few years later, Sino-Soviet relations soured, and gifts from most countries in this camp almost disappeared. (II)
This teppanyaki place is absolutely amazing! So delicious! 🍣 In a blink of an eye, Yamanokawa Teppanyaki now has eight locations, plus two all-you-can-eat seafood options. It's really growing fast. My favorite is the Asian Games Village location, but the New World Department Store Chongwen location is also great. Thank you to Chef Wang Hongcai for his excellent service every time. #DeliciousButUnassumingShop
