A "green experience" in southern China, it's the perfect place to unleash your energy. I ran freely across the grasslands, interacted closely with alpacas and ponies, and my heart melted as I fed them carrots. I also tried grass skiing, with the wind whistling in my ears – it was so thrilling! The Hobbit Castle was a standout, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. That evening, I went to Wei Shiwei (Ailian Lake Branch), a local restaurant recommended by a friend. It's been open for over a decade, a favorite among Chenzhou locals, and many out-of-town guests have given it rave reviews. The lively atmosphere immediately struck me, and the waiter warmly greeted me. The menu was filled with tempting Hunan specialties, including the ✅Tao Grandma Braised Pork Rice ✅Qingshan Spare Ribs! The red rocks, green waters, treacherous strongholds and unique caves—these are all breathtaking displays of nature's uncanny craftsmanship. The Sleeping Beauty, Feitian Grand Canyon, and Cuijiang River cruise—each one of them captivated me. On the Cuijiang River cruise, watching the red cliffs and Danxia on both sides reflected in the emerald waters was like stepping back into ancient times. In the afternoon, we visited Wayaoping. The quaint streets are filled with historical charm. Strolling along the bluestone streets, I felt the passage of time. There are many unique shops along the street. I also tried the intangible cultural heritage of pottery and made my own small ornaments. It was a very rewarding experience. - 🔥Travel Tips 🚗Transportation: I took the high-speed train from Changsha to Chenzhou West Station. After exiting the station, you can choose to take a taxi, carpool, or bus to various attractions. We headed straight to Wei Shiwei (Ailian Lake Branch), a restaurant recommended by a friend. This Chenzhou establishment has been around for over a decade and is a local favorite. It has several branches, and we chose the Ailian Lake branch for its comfortable atmosphere.
