Staying at this hotel in Datong was so comfortable! The Holiday Inn Xining Datong was a wonderful surprise! 😍 The location is superb, right in the heart of Qiaotou Town, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. 🏨Hotel Experience: This Holiday Inn truly changed my perception of county-level hotels! The room was spacious and bright (No. 13, Yuanlin Road), the bedding was as comfortable as a cloud, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. The biggest surprise was the breakfast – the Chinese and Western buffet was exquisite, and they even had a robot delivery service! The service was also superb; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the parking directions were very detailed. Nearby Recommendations: 1️⃣Hotel Restaurant: Located within the hotel (No. 13, Yuanlin Road, Qiaotou Town, Datong County, Qinghai Province), the restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance and delicious food. We had yak hotpot there – it was absolutely amazing! 2️⃣Laoye Mountain Scenic Area: Super close to the hotel (Jianguo East Road, Datong County), just a 10-minute drive. Autumn in Laoye Mountain is breathtakingly beautiful, like a painting. The hiking trails are perfect for trekking, and the summit offers panoramic views of the entire county. 3️⃣ Surrounding Area: The hotel is right next to a pedestrian street and shopping mall, making evening shopping incredibly convenient. We even discovered a super authentic yogurt shop nearby! Tips: 🚗Transportation: We recommend driving or taking a taxi; hotel parking is very convenient. 👔Clothing: Comfortable athletic shoes are recommended for hiking in Laoye Mountain. 📷Photography: The hotel lobby and elevator area are incredibly photogenic! The small tent and dolls in the parent-child suite make the baby super happy, and the free children's meals are nutritious and cute. The front desk also thoughtfully prepared a baby bathtub.
