I was completely exhausted from work 😫, so I decided to head to Qingcheng Mountain right after get off work on Friday! Transportation: From Chengdu South to Qingcheng Mountain Station, the bus ticket is about an hour and 20+ RMB (you can also go from Xipu, which takes 20-30 minutes). Accommodation: This time, I booked a B&B in the back mountains of Qingcheng Mountain [Xiangyin Qingcheng Hot Spring View B&B]. Opening the window, you're greeted by a blanket of greenery, and right next to a stream where you can play in the water. It's perfect for escaping the summer heat. They serve breakfast, and you can order lunch and dinner at the B&B. The chef's cooking is delicious! I left at 7 PM on Friday and arrived at Qingcheng Mountain around 8 PM. Note⚠️ Many taxi drivers at the back mountain B&Bs add a surcharge (45 RMB for an 11-kilometer taxi ride, and upon arrival, they told me it was 60 RMB!!). Ask the hotel owner in advance for a driver's phone number, and they'll drop you off at your doorstep for 30 RMB. I didn't plan to hike this time because I had to work on Sunday!!!
