Pushing open the wooden door of this small noodle shop, the proprietress greeted me with a smile, "Welcome!" as naturally as if she were greeting a neighbor. Sitting by the window, I watched the owner leisurely cooking noodles in the kitchen, the steam slowly wafting in. I ordered a bowl of pea and minced meat noodles for eighteen yuan; the chili was fragrant but not overpowering. As I ate, I suddenly felt like I wasn't in a restaurant, but rather having a casual meal at an old friend's house, the bowls and chopsticks still lukewarm.
This restaurant's decor is absolutely stunning! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the traditional Chinese atmosphere; it felt like stepping back in time, haha. There was even a little parrot at the entrance 🦜, so cute! I was playing with it so much I almost forgot to eat!
The noodles were good, the wontons had thin wrappers, lots of filling, and tasted great. No disappointments, feel free to try them!
