哇咔咔楠I've finally finished my Jingdezhen travel guide! We had a blast in two days and one night, planning everything from sightseeing to food and shopping! Sisters planning a trip soon, check it out!
Accommodation Recommendations
We stayed near Taoxichuan—convenient to everything, within walking distance of Cultural and Creative Street, and even strolled through the market in the evening.
Transportation
We took taxis the entire way. The attractions are a bit far apart, so taxis saved time and weren't expensive, making the two days very budget-friendly!
We ate nine meals in six hours in Jingdezhen.
Chengxin Youtiao
They're less crowded than the popular online restaurants, and the mochi are even softer and more glutinous. A great value at only 5 each.
Tanpo Dumplings
I recommend the spicy ones. I couldn't stop eating them.
Xiao Mao Old Noodle Soup Dumplings + Meat Patty Soup
The old noodle soup dumplings are huge and very satisfying!
Yanjing Bajia
They have dumpling cakes, chive cakes, shredded radish cakes, and a variety of soups!
Fan-style Beef Bone Noodles (You can try just the beef bone)
20 per serving. The beef bone is fragrant and spicy. If you can't handle spicy food, order the mild version.
Seven small and medium-sized meats
Affordable and delicious, a must-try for locals! 10r20 skewers
Jingdezhen Travel Guide | 3 Days 2 Nights: Unlock the Art and Life of the Millennium Porcelain Capital In Jingdezhen, every inch of clay carries the memory of a thousand years of kiln fires, and every piece of porcelain embodies the soul of the artisans. If you also want to step into this "living ceramics museum," then take note of this 3-day, 2-night guide to deeply experience the unique charm of the porcelain capital. 🚗 Transportation Guide - Major Transportation: It is recommended to take the high-speed rail to "Jingdezhen North Station," which is about 2 hours from Nanchang, Hangzhou, and other cities. If you choose to fly, you can fly to "Nanchang Changbei Airport" and then transfer to the high-speed rail to Jingdezhen, which is relatively cheaper. - Local Transportation: The attractions are relatively concentrated, so a mix of public transportation and taxis is sufficient. Taxi fares generally do not exceed 15 yuan. 🏨 Accommodation Recommendations - Artistic B&Bs: It is recommended to stay near Sanbao Village or Taoxichuan, which have a strong sense of design and allow you to experience the ceramic culture atmosphere up close. - Hotels converted from old factory areas: Hotels near the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, full of industrial style and artistic atmosphere. - Budget chain hotels: Home Inn, All Seasons, etc. in the Zhushan Road area of the new city, high cost performance, convenient transportation. 📅 3 Days 2 Nights Highlights Itinerary Day 1: Immersive Day in Ceramic Culture - Morning: After arriving at Jingdezhen North Station, head to the China Ceramic Museum, the only national-level ceramic-themed museum in China, which is free to visit (advance reservation required via WeChat official account). Don't miss the museum's treasures, such as the Yuan blue and white porcelain plum vase with peony scroll design. - Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Kiln Museum, the production site of imperial porcelain during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The red brick archway is stunning for photos at dusk. Afterwards, stroll through Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Street, an art landmark converted from old factory buildings. There is a creative market on weekend evenings (Friday and Saturday evenings 17:00-22:00). - Evening: Head to Zhejiang Road Food Street to sample local delicacies such as cold noodles and dumpling cakes. Day 2: Ancient Town Market Shopping Day - Morning: Visit the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, a paradise for bargain hunters. The Lotte Market (8:30-12:00) on Saturday mornings offers many original handicrafts. - Afternoon: Visit Sanbao Village, stroll along the paths paved with blue and white porcelain shards, visit the art museum, and enjoy a peaceful time at a mountain café. Afterwards, head to Sanbaopeng Art Cluster, where the blue and white porcelain zebra crossings are perfect for photos. - Evening: Visit Jiuji Town, explore the night market snacks and creative stalls, and experience the vibrant local nightlife. Day 3: Yaoli Ancient Town Nature Day - Full Day: Charter a car to Yaoli Ancient Town (approximately 1 hour drive). This town truly embodies the phrase "waiting for the rain to fall in the sky," with Ming and Qing dynasty Hui-style architecture stretching along the Yao River. It's most beautiful in the early morning mist. You can also visit the Raonan Ancient Kiln Site. Don't forget to buy some porcelain souvenirs before you leave. 🍽️ Must-Try Food List - Cold Rice Noodles: Thick rice noodles mixed with soy sauce, chili, etc., with a chewy texture. The Glasses Baba shop on Fuzhou Lane Snack Street is worth a try. - Dumplings: Rice skin filled with various fillings such as chives, dried tofu, and meat. The Jiang Family Dumplings shop at Yangtaowu Night Market is very popular. - Fried Dough Sticks Wrapped in Mochi: Fried dough sticks wrapped in mochi and dipped in soybean powder, a sweet and savory combination, a classic breakfast, a must-try in Fuzhou Lane. - Clay-Braised Chicken: A whole chicken wrapped in kaolin clay and slowly braised until tender. You can try it at the old shop "Home Cooking". ⚠️ Avoidance Guide - Transportation: Buses to Yaoli Ancient Town are infrequent; carpooling is recommended. The round trip costs about 50 yuan per person. - Shopping: Bargaining is possible at ceramic handicraft shops. Be careful to distinguish mass-produced ceramics from machine-made ones to avoid overpaying. Lotte Market is only open on Saturdays; you need to register in advance through their official WeChat account or find a ticket agent. - Photography: The Imperial Kiln Museum is crowded on weekends; try to take photos of empty spaces before 10 AM or after 8 PM. 💡 Summary The beauty of Jingdezhen lies in its millennia-old ceramic culture and the vibrant atmosphere of its streets and alleys. Follow this guide for a 3-day, 2-night trip to deeply experience the unique charm of this porcelain capital and create unforgettable travel memories. #JingdezhenTourism #AJourneyLikeASong #PlacesYouGetAskedAboutOnWeChat #LoveTimeWithDad #GirlishHomestay

Come, with this guide in hand, touch a piece of clay, fire a cup, and let the cracks in life let in a ray of kiln-fired light. 🏺🌅✨ #JingdezhenTourism #JingdezhenCeramics #TravelRecommendationOfficial
