#Local food #Food Weekend Taste #Taizhou Food #Must-eat List Tu Zao Tou (Jigong Former Residence) Food Notes: The taste of fireworks hidden next to the former residence I have heard that this Tu Zao Tou, which is located near Jigong Former Residence, is a treasure store in Taizhou that "foodies must check in". It is indeed well-deserved - it not only dominates the local food must-eat list all year round, but is also the first choice for many locals' family gatherings. Even tourists often make a detour here just for a taste of authentic Taizhou home-cooked taste. Geographic location and environment: The smell of fireworks next to the ancient house The restaurant is not far from the Jigong Former Residence Scenic Area, and it can be reached in a few minutes on foot. It is very convenient to come here to fill your stomach after visiting the former residence. The store is not luxurious, but it has a strong homely atmosphere: wooden tables and chairs, old photos hanging on the wall, and the most eye-catching are the steaming earthen stoves at the door. The firewood crackles, and the food smells delicious as soon as you enter the door, instantly letting you unload the fatigue of the journey, as if you were visiting a friend's house. Recommended dishes: Every bite is a real satisfaction Special Huadiao chicken This is definitely the signature of the store! When it was served, the casserole was still bubbling, and the mellow aroma of Huadiao wine mixed with the oily aroma of chicken went straight into your nose. The chicken was stewed very soft and tender, and it fell off the bone with a light sip. The skin had a bit of burnt fragrance, and the meat inside absorbed the mellowness of Huadiao wine and the deliciousness of spices. It was not greasy at all, and even the soup mixed with rice could be eaten two bowls. Crispy mulberry leaves It was the first time I ate dishes made with mulberry leaves, and it was unexpectedly amazing! Mulberry leaves are wrapped in a thin layer of batter and fried until golden. They are crispy when bitten, with the fragrance of mulberry leaves themselves. They are sprinkled with pepper and salt for seasoning. They are refreshing and not greasy. It is perfect as an appetizer. I finished it without realizing it. Wine-fermented walnut soup It is definitely the right choice for dessert after dinner! You can see large pieces of walnut meat in the thick soup. The sweetness of wine-fermented rice is very soft, with a slight aroma of wine. It tastes warm and warm, smooth and warm to the stomach. The sweetness is just right, and it is greasy and comfortable. Sichuan-flavored beef sambal Don't miss this dish if you like spicy food! The beef is cut into large pieces and stewed until it is soft and tasty. The Sichuan-flavored spicy taste is enough, but it will not cover the fragrance of the beef itself. The side dishes of celery and red pepper are also very good with rice. Every bite is full of addictive freshness. Braised miscellaneous fish A large plate full of several local small sea fish, very fresh. The braised sauce is rich and slightly sweet, the fish is tender and has few bones, especially the fish skin is fried until it is crispy and fragrant. After absorbing the soup, it is so fresh that people's eyebrows will fall down. It is a typical Taizhou seafood method, and you can taste the original flavor of the ingredients. Bonus points: Thoughtful details There are free soy milk and fruit in the store! The soy milk is freshly ground, warm and mellow, and it is drunk with dishes to relieve greasiness and fullness; after the meal, there are fruits such as watermelon and cherry tomatoes, which are refreshing and relieve greasiness. The service is also very thoughtful. The waitress is quick and skillful. She adds soup and changes bone dishes in time. She smiles and chats with you about the local eating methods, which is very friendly. In short, this store is fully worthy of the title of "must eat" - the taste is authentic, the portion is solid, and the cost-effectiveness is super high. Whether it is tourists or locals, they can eat to their satisfaction. After visiting the former residence of Jigong, come here to have a hot home-cooked meal, and it will be worth the trip to Tiantai. Highly recommended!
The 28th stop on my Taizhou, Zhejiang trip. While visiting Taizhou, Zhejiang, after visiting the Former Residence of Jigong, I searched for the delicious food nearby: Tu Zao Tou Jigong Former Residence Restaurant. The entrance is very bright and fresh, with distinctive ancient architecture and quaint decor, giving it the feel of another tourist attraction. They use electronic ordering (a small self-service system), and the dishes are displayed at the counter for you to choose from. The fried mulberry leaves were crispy and crispy, though a bit greasy after eating too much. This was my first time trying mulberry leaves. When visiting Taizhou, you must try both the sesame cakes and wheat cakes. Both have different textures, one with mixed fillings, and both are crispy and refreshing. The stir-fried pig intestines are also excellent, perfectly prepared and fragrant, perfect with rice. The water ball soup is refreshing and clean. The Sichuan-style beef tripe and duck blood are a bit spicy, but the ingredients are crispy, tender, and delicious.
3 days and 2 nights in Taizhou! On the first day, I drove directly to Linhai after get off work on Friday and stayed in Linhai at night! The next day, I set off at 8 am to Shenxianju. It was less than 50 minutes by car from the B&B to Shenxianju. I played in Shenxianju for about 3 hours. It was already 2:30 pm when I returned to the B&B. I couldn't walk anymore, so I drank tea and chatted in the B&B. I played mahjong with friends for a few rounds. In the evening, I had Rongjia snacks on Ziyang Street. After the meal, I took a short walk on Ziyang Street. Ziyang Street was beautiful at night! ! ! ! On the third day, I set off at 9 am to Tiantai Guoqing Temple. The tour lasted about 1 hour. The Chinese food was Tiantai Tu Zaotou, and the farmhouse dishes were very good! The most recommended B&B in Linhai is Lanshe B&B. Stay for two nights in a row. It is economical and affordable. In the words of the boss, "spend the money of a single room and enjoy the quality of a suite", this is true! Next time I will come to Linhai again, half of which is for the B&B. I must have a barbecue and a little wine on his terrace in the summer!
