No. 6 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Budapest

ホテルで聞いたレストランです。店内はとてもおしゃれで、料理もとても美味しかったです。私達は、予約の合間の1時間で入れてもらえましたがゆっくり食べるなら予約した方が良さそうです。

This is a restaurant I heard about at the hotel. The interior was very stylish, and the food was delicious.
We were able to get in for an hour between reservations, but if you want to enjoy your meal at your own pace, it's probably best to make a reservation.

这家餐厅比较普通，菜式主要以牛肉菜品为主，口味还可以，但是菜的品种不太多，所以比较适合游客随便填饱肚子，好在价格比较便宜，很划算。

This restaurant is quite ordinary, and its dishes are mainly beef dishes. The taste is OK, but there are not too many varieties of dishes, so it is more suitable for tourists to fill their stomachs. Fortunately, the prices are relatively cheap, so it is very cost-effective.

VakVarjú means "Blind Raven," and this elegant restaurant in Budapest's Theater District serves refined Hungarian cooking that respects tradition while embracing modern technique. Steps from the Hungarian State Opera House, upscale without being stuffy.

💸 Our bill: 20,856 HUF for two including tip (around SGD 80).

🗒️ What we ordered:
· Pork Tenderloin Wrapped in Cured Ham with Potato Rösti, Chilled Squash Stew and Dill Oil (5,890 HUF) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Clever and excellently executed. The ham keeps the lean tenderloin moist and seasons it perfectly, the rösti is golden and crispy, and the chilled squash stew is an unexpected cool contrast.

· AranyVarjú Handcrafted American Pale Ale, 0.5L (1,890 HUF) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Their house-brewed "Golden Raven." Pleasantly hoppy, balanced, and a clean finish between rich bites.

· Duck Liver Mousse with Elderflower Jelly, Apricot Chutney and Toasted Milk Loaf (5,290 HUF) ⭐⭐⭐
Impossibly silky mousse with delicate floral notes from the elderflower and sweet-tart apricot. Stunning presentation.

· Duck Confit with Alpine Cheese Croquette and Purple Cabbage Puree (5,890 HUF) ⭐⭐⭐
Fall-apart tender confit with a molten cheese croquette and a gorgeous purple cabbage puree.

📍 Location: Paulay Ede u. 7, 1061 Budapest, Hungary

🚇 How to Get There: 3-min walk from Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út metro station (M1 line), right by the Opera House and Andrássy Avenue

🕐 Opening Hours: Daily 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Dinner reservations essential, especially on weekends; lunch has better availability. The menu changes seasonally, so ask about the chef's specials.
