Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam

Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam is situated in Jalan Balai Polis, City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The kopitiam serves aesthetic traditional Hainanese food, foods overall nice with affordable price, I love their 'Cham'(coffee+Tea)! You would always see the crowds waiting infront of the kopitiam.

The taste is good, the environment is not great, and the service is OK. There is a long queue every day. I don’t know where the tourists come from. The 🈶️ warm soup eggs 🥚 are Japanese style. I must order them every time I go. They are delicious. All kinds of bread 🥯 are also delicious.

I was ready at 7:30 in the morning and lined up with a bunch of people to eat. Anyway, it was a Hainanese tea shop with a long queue. The taste was very good, and it was a typical breakfast for Peranakans. It was simple and delicious.

In the morning in Kuala Lumpur, I went to Ho Kau Coffee Shop with my Malaysian colleagues. It is a coffee shop with a history of more than 50 years, and it is now run by the grandchildren of the founder. Customers lined up in front of the shop for breakfast early in the morning, and you have to wait patiently during lunch time. There are many tourists who come here because of its reputation. We waited for 40 minutes before we got a table. Looking at the traditional menu, in addition to traditional dishes, a lot of new dishes have been added. I like to drink their signature Hainanese tea and Hainanese coffee, which are rich and smooth. The breakfast we ordered was traditional kaya butter toast with raw and boiled eggs, croissants, curry rice rolls, nasi lemak and fried rice noodles. The restaurant also sells some dim sum.
